There is just nothing like a Friday cliffhanger on a soap opera, is there? The Young and the Restless sure masters this well. If you missed Friday, November 7, 2008's episode, here's what happened:
- Adam tells Jack that the FBI wants him for questioning as do the Mexican authorities. To remove himself from the equation, Jack maintains his story that he only introduced Adam to the editor of the magazine that published Victor's diary. He then coaches Adam on the story he ought to give the authorities.
- In Paris, Eden and Noah consider ditching the school trip to take in the sights they want to see.
- Nick calls Sharon when he arrives in Paris and says he wants to meet up with her and Noah. She's thrilled. When they see each other (without Noah), they embrace. Later, Phyllis shows up in Paris to surprise Nick, but he's not in his room when she arrives. Yikes!
- Elsewhere in the City of Lights, Ashley heads to Notre Dame to look for Victor. She has his prayer card and says a prayer to a statue. As she turns around, who should be standing there but The Mustache himself!
- Back in Genoa City, Jack has another visit from his ghostly daddy, where John asks Jack if his revenge on Victor was worth losing Sharon.
- Jeff sees Marge, who he assumes is Katherine, stumbling in the bar. He blabs to Gloria, Jill, Esther, and Nikki. The group is stunned. They all meet at the bar where Jeff thought he saw Kay and find her cell phone there.
- Meanwhile, Katherine picks Marge up to take her to rehab. Kay gives Marge some of her old clothes to wear, along with the scarf she is currently wearing. Kay calls Nikki and tells her she's fine and that she'll be home soon. Nikki shares the word.
- As Kevin fantasizes about the bag of money he found, he tries to contact Kay, shouting into her voicemail. Amber hears this and becomes suspicious of Kevin. She urges Daniel to keep his ears open. When Kay realizes she lost the cash, she calls Kevin and asks him to bring the money to the mansion, which he does. When Kay doesn't show up and the weather turns bad, Kevin takes the bag of money and leaves.
- As Kay and Marge travel to the rehab center, the weather is awful and they get in a car accident.
