- At Crimson Lights, Gloria makes sure that Katherine has a "senior moment" by asking Kevin to hot wire Kay's car and move it a couple of blocks away. Glo then acts all caring and at Kay's beck and call in order to win Katherine's trust...and her shares of Jabot!
- Sharon rips into Jack for not telling her his whereabouts and for making her look like a fool to Billy. Jack says he was in a hurry and forgot to leave his destination in his goodbye note. Sharon retorts that that's not what married people do. Jack apologizes and Sharon admits that Phyllis telling her was what bothered her the most. She apologizes for overreacting and tells Jack they're all good.
- Eden goes to see River in jail and lashes out at him for never telling her about his murder charge. He says he was trying to protect her. She calls him a liar.
- After, Michael and River discuss the case and Michael asks Riv about a possible witness. Turns out the guy is a traveling clown. Michael says that they're going to need someone a little more court-worthy and proposes they use Eden as a character witness for River. He says no way, but Michael explains that she can attest to his lifestyle in the ashram and what a good father he was to her. He warns that this may be their only hope.
- At Restless Style, Phyllis shows Nick the new cover, which is fantastic. Nick is impressed and wants to flip through the entire issue right away. Phyllis tries to grab it away and distract him so that he won't see the revised Editor's letter, where she trashes Sharon and Jack. Nick finds it and is ticked. He asks Phyllis if she even considered the fact that she had publicly ripped apart the mother of his son. Phyl says no and that she's sorry. Nick tells her that's not good enough and tells her they can't work together if this is how things are going to be.
- After, Nick heads to Sharon's to show her the letter so she's not taken off guard when it hits the stands. Sharon is upset, but plays off that it's not that big of a deal. Nick tells her that he doesn't agree with anything that Phyllis said. Sharon says she knows.
- And finally, Billy corners Jack and taunts him that he knows who Jack's 'silent partner' in the Jabot takeover scheme is - Gloria! Jack denies it, but Billy's not convinced.
