Biography:
Kyle Lowder was a normal All-American guy growing up in Pleasantville, New York. He was very close to his family and very active at school: he ran track, played football, and was a gymnast.
His singing accomplishments are many, and he briefly studied music at Syracuse University in their B.F.A. performing arts program. The lure of Tinseltown soon called him, however, and he headed out to Los Angeles to try his hand at acting.
Prior to auditioning for acting roles, Kyle appeared in several national ad campaigns and runway shows for Abercrombie & Fitch and Speedo. In an almost unheard of accomplishment, he nailed his very first audition, securing the role of Brady Black on Days of Our Lives. Kyle had only been in Los Angeles for six months.
Entering the show as a rebel who often sparred with the beloved Dr. Marlena Evans, Kyle worried about creating a fan base with viewers who could easily loathe him for hurling nasty barbs at the doc. But it wasn’t long before Days fans came to love his “bad boy” act, and became very accepting of Kyle and the role of Brady.
In 2002, Kyle married his Days co-star, Arianne Zucker. After a brief separation, the two reconciled and appear very happy and supportive of each other’s careers.
Kyle now appears on The Bold and the Beautiful as Rick Forrester, the eldest son of Brooke Logan and Eric Forrester. Caught in a potentially compromising relationship with his “niece” Phoebe, Rick was on the hot plate and remains a front-burner actor.
