- Taylor gloats over the progress she thinks she's made with Ridge in such a short amount of time.
- Meanwhile, after Ridge and Brooke make love, they discuss Rick and, no surprise, do not agree on how his situation is being handled. Ridge believes Rick is being babied and will continue acting spoiled as long as he's allowed to.
- After saying this, Ridge then has a change of heart and offers to patch things up with Rick. Brooke's thrilled.
- As this is all happening, Rick and Eric are having a heavy conversation, where Rick finally tells his father that is was Ridge who was going to pull the plug on Eric while he was in his coma. Ridge enters the room just at that moment and vows to put a stop to Rick's defamation for good.
