After pondering Brooke's sanity for a few weeks now, today was the clincher. Sending Ridge to talk Taylor out of marrying Rick = big mistake! If you missed Tuesday, October 14's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, here is why I make such claims:
- As Ridge tries to talk to Taylor about her relationship with Rick, the two end up taking a walk down Memory Lane, where Taylor admits that Ridge is the true love of her life. Lo and behold, the conversation ends in a kiss!
- On the other side, Brooke meets with Rick and tells him that his future wife is still in love with Ridge. Rick accuses her of being insecure in her love with Ridge.
- At Owen's, Donna tells him what's going on and Owen demands the report Pam. Donna refuses for fear of who Pam will hurt. Naturally, Owen is all too pleased with going along with Donna's plan to make like they're a couple in order to fool Pam and everyone else. He makes a move on her, but Donna turns him away, saying she's still going to be true to Eric.
Now after reading the first bullet point, can you see why I was questioning Brooke's wherewithal? Only a moron would send her fiance to meet with his ex - the same ex who just claimed him as the love of her life moments before. Sheesh, Brooke. Way to invite a love triangle!
