Everyone stayed to the hospital hoping and waiting to hear good news about Victoria. Noah received plenty of attention as everyone visited him while he recuperated from his cracked ribs and the surgery that removed his spleen. Phyllis went back to work after being assigned to the "work release" program through jail. Katherine and Cane wondered if they were responsible for the Clear Springs tragedy. Jack was named one of the top suspects for the murder of Ji Min Kim. Heather and Cane became closer as they each learned of the others childhood. With an invitation to join Gloria and Jeffrey for dinner, Kevin tagged along to make sure that his mother didn't reveal anything personal to Jeffrey. Paul wondered if he should tell Heather that he is her biological father, but decided against it after speaking with April, her mother. Lauren was still experiencing panic attacks about her Clear Springs disaster. Over dinner, Jeffrey tried to woo Gloria, and as she appeared to be taken in by all the flattery, Kevin was quick to throw in some quips of his own to keep changing the lovey dovey stuff, noticing that it appeared that Gloria was starting to fall for the man. After bidding Gloria a goodnight, Kevin was relieved after being told by his mother, that she was no fool and could see what Jeffrey was trying to do. Paul told Victor that the foreman of the Clear Springs Project had been involved before with some illegal activities. The subject of John's will came up for several people, first Gloria and Kevin who knew how much John loved Gloria, yet left her out of his will, and Jana who told Phyllis that perhaps the Chaplin could help her with some answers about Jack's visits to his family. Jack thanked Victor for rescuing him from the accident, but Victor told him that if he had it to do over again, he would have left him to die.
