'The Young and the Restless' Weekly Recap: Week ending April 25, 2008

A memorial service was attended by the Forresters for "Tiny", Pam's dog. Taylor was given joint custody rights with Nick to raise baby Jack, which angered Brooke. She was even more upset when she learned that Rick, her son, had proposed marriage to Taylor. Ashley was in for a rough night when Storm turned up and frightened her, not once but twice. Storm tried to offer Ashley a gift of pearl earrings, that she refused, and then later after scaring her at home, he tried to tell her what he had done before, knowing that Ridge had beat him to it, so that she could understand him better. A conversation between him and Ashley let Storm show a gun that he had purchased to explain what had happened, but Katie who had just arrived at Ashley's, saw Storm with the gun and burst in thinking that he was going to use it on Ashley, It caused a misunderstanding as Katie tried to take the gun away and she was accidentally shot. At the hospital, Katie's life hung in the balance as she needed a heart donor for a transplant, without which she would die. Stephanie invited her family to gather to talk to them about some decisions she had made. She was going to divorce Eric, and even offered him the chance to buy her portion of the house, so that he could stay in the family home and still have the Forrester family gatherings there. It caused the Forrester family to be surprised, but she said that it was time to bring the family back together. Without a transplant donor, the Logan family gathered to say their last good-byes to Katie.
