Another day, another dose of Victor's nastiness. Here's what went down on Thursday, September 25's episode of The Young and the Restless.
- Nick hears Victor yell Sabrina's name, then finds him passed out on the floor in the gallery.
- The Newman clan learns that Victor is suffering from self-inflicted dehydration and malnutrition, which explains his more-erratic-than-normal behavior and his incoherent speech when talking to Nick.
- Victoria suggests having Victor committed since he is clearly unable to take care of himself, but Nikki says "No way." She's seen the outcome of making Vic do something he doesn't want to before, and it didn't turn out pretty.
- With Victoria and Nikki on opposing sides, Nick holds Victor's fate in his hands. He's the deciding factor...but he's undecided.
- Not surprisingly, Victor gets cranky while in the hospital and tries to throw his whole family out of his hospital room. He demands to leave, and threatens to take legal action on the hospital if they don't allow him to go.
- Elsewhere in Genoa City, Heather tells Paul she thinks he's hiding something about what Victor was up to in Mexico. Paul denies it.
- Heather begins feeling woozy and Paul takes her to the hospital where she learns she has Epstein-Barr.
- While Paul's out of her hospital room, Heather disobeys her dad's orders to stay away from Victor (who they've learned is also in the hospital). She sneaks into Victor's room, and he is not at all happy to see her.
- Heather tries to plea for Victor's forgiveness of Adam, and Victor tells her to leave. She continues to try, asking Victor to lift his blackballing of Adam from every firm in the area. Vic turns nastier and Heather finally leaves.
- Meanwhile, Michael lays into Jeffrey, accusing him of turning River in to the Feds. Jeff finally admits he was the tattletale, saying he didn't want to be a knowing accomplice to hiding a felon. Gloria knows better, and accuses him of turning River in due to his jealousy of their past. Jeffrey doesn't deny that was the reason he squealed.
- In Mexico, Jack and Adam continue to flash pictures of Vic around and ask questions of the locals in hopes of getting the scoop on Victor's doings while there.
- Jack lets Adam in on a little of Jack and Victor's history, then issues a dire warning to Adam: He thinks Adam is next on Victor's ruin-your-life hit list.
