Tuesday, October 28, 2008's episode of The Young and the Restless exposes Jack for the snake he is and more. If you missed the show, here's the scoop:
- Adam discovers the tape of Jack recording Victor's "diary" is now blank. Adam and Frank realize they've been set up.
- Later, Adam tries to get Jack to admit his part in the forgery plan, but he doesn't budge.
- As if that's not enough, Jack also manages to red flag Sharon who tells him she has to run to Nick's for a minute, but when she returns he'd better be there - they need to talk.
- When Sharon arrives at Nick's, she finds Heather and Phyllis, where Heather has repeatedly insinuated that there is something going on between Nick and Sharon. Heather also tries to get Phyllis to admit that Victor is not in South America, but she keeps mum. Later, Summer wakes up and tells Phyllis that the "bugs" scared her, tipping Heather off that they know the house is bugged. Heather concludes the Newmans have been messing with the authorities and have been leading them on a wild goose chase. She blabs to Adam.
- Phyllis recounts some of this to Nick, who is headed to SA. Agent Aguilar is also on the plane with him. When they land, Nick steals the agent's handcuffs and locks him to his seat while Nick disembarks.
- Jeffrey returns to Gloria's house just as Gloria is on the phone with Kevin. Jeff overhears her telling Kev that he still has the tainted face cream and may likely turn her in to the cops. The dysfunctional marrieds hit the sheets, but Jeff then tells Glo that their marriage is now nothing more than a business partnership to win Jabot.
- Jeffrey tells Gloria that he saw a drunk Katherine (who was really Marge). Later, at Crimson Lights, Glo sees Kay trip and believes she really may have been hitting the bottle again. She rushes over to help.
- Being snowed by Gloria's false sincerity, Katherine begins to open up to her about the fear she's losing her mind.
- Finally, Sharon returns home to find Jack and Adam in an argument over Victor's diary and then stands in disbelief as Jeffrey comes in and spills info about their partnership to take over Jabot. Sharon is shocked and tells Jack she's not sure if she wants to continue on with their marriage.
