Great start to the week on The Young and the Restless. If you missed Monday, October 20, 2008's episode, here's what went down:
- Michael tells Eden he is holding out hope he'll be able to clear River of the bombing murder charges.
- Nick and Sharon meet up at Newman Enterprises, where Sharon's thrilled with her new travel-filled agenda. Nick says they need to chat about their schedules since he has some business traveling to do, too. Later, Noah asks if he can do some traveling of his own...on a class trip to Paris.
- Lauren asks Eden if she's interested in going on the trip. Later at Crimson Lights, Noah and Eden discuss the trip and he tries to convince her to go. She'd rather go on her own terms, but finally agrees. Noah seems pleased.
- Nikki arrives home from Rio and begins another plan to save Victor. Nick says "No way", that any plan from here on out will include only him.
- Heather and Adam meet up. He lies about his whereabouts the night before (he was with Jack at the motel). Adam tells Heather he spent some time at an all-night diner updating his resume and cover letter for a recruiter. Heather buys it.
- Heather tells Adam that the feds tailed Nikki to Rio and that they just missed Victor. Adam later relays this message to Jack and tells him they need to get cracking on the journal. When they meet, Adam reads his article for the magazine to Jack, who is thrilled with the finished product. After the meeting, Paul catches Adam leaving the motel.
- Sharon questions Jack about being at the Motor Arms Motel after she sees the number on their home phone. Jack acts outraged and promises he's not having an affair.
- Later, Heather questions Nikki at the ranch, but she won't budge. Michael arrives and assures Heather that Nikki won't be giving any statements surrounding Victor. As they're talking Michael gets a call from The Mustache himself, who asks to speak to Nikki. Nikki pretends that it's Nick so Heather doesn't catch on.
- Victor tells Nikki to not come looking for him and to stay out of the middle of the investigation. Vic then asks to speak to Michael again, where he removes Michael from his legal obligations to him. As Michael is talking, Heather figures out that it's Victor on the phone, not Nick.
- Hearing her in the background, Victor demands to speak to Heather. She gets on the phone...
