Storm was still insistent that he needed to tell the police that he was responsible for Stephanie's shooting. Brooke wanted a chance to go to Stephanie and see if she could strike up a deal with her, since Stephanie "owed her big time." After Brooke left, Donna, Katie and Storm talked about the effects that all their childhoods had on them. Storm, in particular, was the one with the most pressure, and then as an adult, he finally snapped.
Bridget was hovering over Stephanie, checking her out to make sure that the effects of the holidays were not too much for her to handle. Stephanie told Bridget that she no longer needed her meds and that she was feeling much better. If she needed anything to make her feel better, she would just take some aspirin. Ridge and Bridget then left. Brooke arrived and she and Stephanie chit-chatted about the holidays and then things got down to business. Stephanie once again told Brooke that she was indeed sorry for what happened to her and if there was ever anything that she could do for her, she would. Brooke then took the opportunity for Stephanie to make good on her word. She told her that she wanted her to go to the police and tell them that Stephen was not responsible for what happened to her. She remembered being "shot" but didn't know who her assailant was. Brooke was insistent on believing that her father had nothing to do with her being shot. Stephanie looked at Brooke's certainty and wondered how she could be so sure. Brooke then once again begged Stephanie to help her so that her family could heal amongst themselves. She asked her to be the one to set her father free.
