Young and the Restless Recap: December 19, 2007

Nikki, still huffing and puffing around informed David that she was going to sue Victor for what he had done to the Clear Springs project. She was insistent that she would not be bullied or pushed around by him ever again.

Victor, in the home of Nicholas and Phyllis, who was there celebrating his granddaughter's #1 birthday, told them along with Daniel that J.T. was the father of Victoria's baby boy. A short time later Victor let his son know that he had called in his loan on Nicholas' mother. Nicholas, not agreeing with the decision at all, told his father that he was just not hurting his mother, but the entire family. Suddenly the doorbell rang and Nikki arrived with David, while Victor grumbled about their early arrival and then leaving. Nikki then learned that Nicholas was not in agreement with his father having called in her loan, nor was he in agreement with Nikki, when she announced that she would be suing him.

At home, Jack practically on bended knee, asked Sharon to please forgive him and stay with him. She told him that she didn't know if she could anymore, because she had lost all trust in him. After arriving at Nick and Phyllis' party for Summer, a rather cool Sharon and Jack tried to fit in with the party mood. Phyllis told Sharon that she should give Jack another chance, because he loved Sharon and wanted to be a better man. Phyllis then asked Sharon if she was ever able to read the letter that Jack wrote when he was trapped in the rubble in Clear Springs. Having answered that she hadn't, Phyllis suggested that she do so, to learn what kind of man Jack wanted to be because of her.

Gloria entered Kevin's apartment carrying bag after bag of Christmas presents for Michael and Lauren and Fen. She needed to put them in his place so that they wouldn't be discovered before Christmas, but then Lauren and Michael arrived carrying their packages to hide them. Gloria announced that she was spending Christmas with Jeffrey much to Michael's displeasure, but she was sure that Jeffrey was a decent man. Michael completely disagreed with that statement. Gloria then scurried out the door for a dinner appointment with Jeffrey, but managed to tell Kevin that he should turn up to watch them and how they act. As if that weren't bad enough, at their arrival at Summer's birthday party, Nicholas told Lauren and Michael that his parents had been there, separately, and Nikki was going to sue him.

Standing at the window looking at his son, J.T. greeted Victor's arrival to see the baby. Suggesting that J.T. leave for awhile, Victor chatted with his grandson. As J.T. left, he overheard Victor tell "Reed" that he would always be there for him.

Kevin watched his mother and Jeffrey nuzzle with each other over dinner, while his was ruined due to their floor show. After Jeffrey bid Gloria goodnight, Kevin came over to his mother's table and the two of them struggled to keep their dinners down, as they commented on Jeffrey's "touchy-feely" attention to Gloria. Lauren and Michael arrived and Kevin prompted by Gloria, managed to say aloud that maybe they were looking at Jeffrey all wrong, and that he really wasn't as bad as they all thought.

Jack gave Sharon the letter that he had written her from the disaster. She was very moved by what he had written about her. She then told him that she needed time to think about their future, if they had one. She told him that she was still planning on moving out after the holidays but she wouldn't divorce him yet. What she wanted, was time to think.
