Young and the Restless Recap: December 14, 2007

David picked up Nikki and brought her over to Sharon's place where she would be staying. While there, Victor called to tell Nikki that he would be leaving the ranch for awhile, therefore giving her some free time to visit with Victoria. She told David that it was Victor, and that he was leaving. In the meantime David was trying to prepare Nikki for the news that he had to tell her about. However, she suggested that they wait until later over dinner to discuss business. Nikki headed over to the main house to see Victoria, and was surprised to find Victor still there. The two remained cordial with each other, and talked about Christmas plans and some of their past Christmas' together. Agreeing to have dinner at the house, Victor took off. Realizing that Nikki had left her mail at the cabin, Victor and his dog took a walk over to see her. Reaching their destination, Victor saw through the window, Nikki and David kissing. He dropped the mail on a nearby place and left. Later, when Nikki realized that Victor had been by, she called him to thank him for bringing over the mail.

Amber showed Daniel her new camera. He was upset with her for having spent money, which of course came as a surprise to him, since he didn't know that she had recovered the money from the fire before. In the meantime, Daniel had another problem to deal with of his own. He had just run into Heather's car in the parking lot and was not too anxious to tell her what he had done. After a brief discussion, matters were somewhat settled when Cane happened by to announce that the dealer Daniel wanted to take her car to for repairs, was actually the owner of a chop shop, in fact one in which Heather had previously prosecuted the owner. Cane and Lily having reached his office, where they spent time looking for a report that he needed for the mornings meeting, reached a small climax when the two found themselves standing close enough to each other to almost kiss. The moment quickly passed though and the two left to leave.
