Young and the Restless Recap: December 10, 2007

While happy people seemed to be all around her, Nikki found herself wondering how they could be so, when everything in her life was so unhappy, at the time. After making a call to David, who came to meet her shortly afterwards, her mood was made somewhat better when David suggested that they go to the hospital to see the baby. Upon arriving they met up with Brad who was at the window looking at the baby. He commented to them that they should name the child. He suggested they use the A initial from his father's name whereupon Nikki reminded him that it would be Victoria and the baby's father who named the child.

Sharon, having left her own home, headed to the ranch with flowers for Victoria. She was sure to mention that she was there on behalf of Victor because it was her husband who caused the ranch to have to be searched earlier. Not wanting to go back home, Victor let Sharon stay in the home that she had occupied for so many years, which she did. After she left, Neil arrived. He and Victor talked about what Victor wanted and Neil warned him that he was about to do, had better be just business and not personal also. Victor then told Neil that everything that happens with Nikki is personal and as of right now, he wanted her loan called in!!!

Jack, becoming desperate tried to reach Sharon on her phone. While downing a drink, Jack had another visit from his father who told him that he couldn't be trusted if he could do something against his father's own wishes. John told Jack that it was time for him to stand up and answer to the charges. Jack then received a call from Sharon telling him that she wouldn't be back for the night. After the call, Jack took off for the ranch and pleaded through the door to Sharon to come back home. She simply turned off the lights and told him that she was going to bed.

Jack and his father watched the news upon their return to the house where Jack heard the unpopular opinion of the people who were wanting him to resign. John told his son that Sharon's trust in him was broken because of what he had done to her. Jack vowed to make things right, realizing finally that he was a better person because of her and Noah, than he was without them. However, when he arrived back at the ranch, she was nowhere to be found, as she had left to meet Brad. Jeffrey and Gloria met at the club whereupon Jeffrey was quick to show her the burn mark on his hand. Announcing that it was from the Jabot cream that his brother had left for him, he told Gloria that William had also left a note, which he had in his possession, that simply said "don't let her get away with it." Gloria remaining calm told Jeffrey that his brother would be ashamed if he knew what his brother was trying to do to his widow. Then Gloria stood up and walked out, taking a deep breath on her way.
