Young and the Restless Recap: November 12, 2007

From Diane Adams, for About.com

Dr. Webb, presumably the specialist that Victor had called in to see Victoria, told the family that all things looked fine as of now, but he couldn't say much as to what might happen in the future. Brad stopped by and learned that he hadn't been brought up to date on Victoria's condition, which made him angry. After apologizing, because things starting happening to Victoria, everyone told Brad that he would be kept up to date in the future. The doctor later informed the family that he was somewhat worried about a condition that Victoria had. It was one that would interfere with the circulation of the baby. The doctor suggested that if it kept up, the baby would have to be delivered. They also learned that it would not be a good thing for the baby to be delivered, because it was too early and might not survive. At this point Nikki turned to Victor for comfort.

Paul and Heather continued their conversation about his being her father. Both were extremely emotional and crying at every turn. Heather was still upset that her father didn't want her while Paul tried to explain why he never interfered in her life. Suddenly, Heather blurted out that she felt the only reason Paul was saying anything now was because she was checking into the Sheila Carter case, which somehow somehow involved, Michael, Paul and Lauren. Paul warned her that if she opened up the case, Lauren would be the one who got hurt. This of course, not mentioning Maggie and Phyllis herself.

Michael told Phyllis that another appeal for her release, was going to be heard, which gave her another hope for release from prison.

Heather burst into the office and found Phyllis holding her daughter. Phyllis tried to explain that she wasn't trying to get away with anything but rather, because her daughter was sick. Heather threatened to go to her parole office but Daniel managed to calm down the angry ADA.

Later, as Neil and Karen continued to work together, they chatted about plans for dinner that evening and maybe something fun afterwards. Neil became distant when a favorite film of Dru's was mentioned, and cancelled their plans. Sharon then talked to Neil about the fact that he should be moving on with his life now, something Dru would want him to do. Neil swallowed his pride, went to Karen and reaffirmed their plans for the evening.
