Young and the Restless Recap: November 09, 2007

Jana was sure that Jack had somehow managed to talk his dad into changing his will, thus eliminating Gloria from reaping any of the Abbott family assets. Phyllis told her that it was never proven that Jack had anything to do with Gloria not receiving anything. Following her own way of thinking Jana had a meeting with the Chaplin, of course it was the one that John had also been seeing when he was there and alive. By some set of circumstances, Jana learned that John did have a friend during his stay, and when she learned his name, she passed the news on to Gloria and Kevin.

Victoria's temperature began spiking which caused great concern to J.T., Nikki and Victor and Nicholas who arrived to check up on his sister. Nicholas began to wonder if Brad shouldn't be told about the change in Victoria, but Nikki suggested waiting until they knew more.

Paul and Maggie chatted about his telling Heather that he was her father. Later, when he and Heather met, he did divulge the personal information that he had kept for so many years. After he had told her, a stunned Heather sat with a shocked look on her face.

Visiting Lauren, Heather tried to get more information from her about the Sheila Carter incident that ended up with Lauren having to shoot Sheila. Fortunately, Michael came through the door and stopped any further information from being told to Heather. He did tell her that talking about Sheila makes his wife uncomfortable and therefore he would appreciate no more questions on the subject. Heather learned from Maggie that she was shot by Sheila, something she also carries memories of.

At work, Phyllis asked Jack, trying to find out if he had done anything that precipitated John leaving Gloria out of his will. He simply told her that his father made out the will and he had nothing to do with it. Later, Heather paid a visit to Phyllis and questioned her about Sheila Carter also. After leaving, Jack was reminded to tell Phyllis that she had received a call from someone named Todd. Phyllis, once again feeling sympathetic towards Jack, told him that she didn't need to speak with Todd after all.

Kevin was quick to tell Gloria that thanks to gossip, someone else was also trying to reach "TODD" beside them. Michael told Phyllis that his appeal on her behalf was at that very moment being heard by the appellate court.
