Young and the Restless Recap: September 06, 2006

Nick arrives out at the ranch and is about to knock on the front door of his former home, when he looks in and sees Jack and Sharon kissing.

Phyllis picks up and looks at a picture of Nicholas.

Dru meets up with Daniel in the hall and is very pleasant. He is surprised, but she says that she meant what she said at the graduation party for Lily, everyone makes mistakes and he is being given a second chance. She also has some publicity things that she would like him to pass around, so as they go off to get them, and return, Carmen and Neil are seen getting on the elevator. She is telling Neil that she has a surprise for him.

Ashley meets up with Billy who is looking for Jack. She thinks he might be at the Newman's but isn't sure.

Sharon tells Nicholas to come in and to hurry up and finish his business, and he tells her that he will.

Lily sees Daniel and asks him if he is going to sign up for college courses. She wants him to know that she is going to also.

Gloria and Kevin are talking when Ashley comes in trying to burst their bubble once again. Gloria tells her that she has a new title and job and tells Ashley that Jill and Katherine gave her the title of Vice President of Creative affairs. Ashley makes the comment that she couldn't coordinate a mop and pail, let along anything else. Kevin tells Ashley that she is going to feel stupid when she finds out the truth.

Dru is very happy when Lily tells her that she is going back to college. She is happy that Lily is doing such good things with her life.

Carmen brings Neil to an old restaurant that she saw while driving, and she hopes that he will turn it into a jazz club of his very own.

Lily asks her mother just how she is doing, and are things going okay between dad and her. It seems as though, Dru blurts out, that she believes that Carmen and Neil are having an affair. Later, she goes to Lily and apologizes for her outburst, saying that she didn't know what she was saying.

Later, Neil and Carmen continue to talk about his dream for a jazz club.

Dru, now in a funk, calls Sharon, and is looking for something to cheer her up. Sharon tells her that she needs something also, so she tells Dru that she is on her way over to the Newman's to meet with her.

Ashley goes to Jill. She tells her that having Gloria work there, is a bad decision. Jill puts her in her place, by telling her that it is her decision to make, and Ashley doesn't have anything to say about it.

Jack and Nicholas see each other and Nicholas asks him what he is doing with Sharon. Jack asks what the difference is, since he is no longer involved with Sharon. Jack comments that Nicholas would mention Sharon's vulnerability when he wasn't concerned about being with Phyllis when she was seeing him.

Gloria finds an article in the paper about a man who came out of a coma after many years. He suddenly woke up one day and started talking. Gloria insists that Jack was wrong about what he did to John. No one gave John a chance to possibly wake up sometime in the future. She suddenly places a call to Jack and tells him to read the article in the paper, and see if he doesn't feel guilty about his father.
