Young and the Restless Recap: August 21, 2006

Brad goes to see Sharon and tells her that he can't see her anymore. Their personal relationship is over and he is committed to his marriage to Victoria.

Phyllis and Nicholas are enjoying their time with Dr. Thompson, as they look at the ultrasound of their baby.

Nikki talks with Jack. Victoria is with Nikki at the time. She asks for Jack to get in touch with her if there is anything that she can do to help. Victoria asks her mother is she was able to get in touch with Victor and Nikki tells her "no." She called Hope but was told that he had all ready left there and was headed for a monastery.

Neil, Dru, Devon arrive at the club for a very special dinner. They are waiting for Lily to arrive to celebrate her high school graduation.

Lily goes to see Daniel. She tells him that she received her diploma, and that her parents are giving her a dinner tonight at the club. She would like to invite him, since he helped to make it possible for her to concentrate on her studies every night. He isn't sure that he should be going, but she tells him that she wants him there, and it is her special night.

At the hospital, JT offers to take Colleen on home. Jack and Ashley agree that she should go and they leave. As Jack, Ashley and Gloria remain, the body of Jack is brought out from his room, and everyone is somewhat shocked, including the nurse who thought that everyone had all ready left. The nurse apologizes again but says the paperwork will be at the desk, whenever they want to get it. In the meantime, Gloria goes up to the body, and says goodbye again to her husband.

Nikki asks Victoria where Brad is and receives a snappy remark back from Victoria. She has no idea and resents even being asked about him.

Brad tells Sharon that he is committed to his marriage to Victoria. She won't be able to rely on him anymore, and he realizes how unfair he has been to both Victoria and her for his actions. He asks her how she is feeling, and she says that she is still haunted by the memories of the kidnapping but otherwise, okay. He kisses her goodbye on the forehead and leaves her home.

Nicholas and Phyllis are having a little girl.

Lily arrives at the club and brings her own special guest, Daniel. Neither Dru or Neil is too happy to see him, but Lily asks Devon to move his chair over to make room so that Daniel can join them. A few minutes later, Daniel offers to leave, but Dru relents, since the food has been ordered but Neil wants him to go, saying that he is no longer a part of the family, until Devon says to everyone that this is Lily's night, and she should be able to enjoy herself.

Colleen and JT arrive back home. He offers to fix her something to eat and drink but she doesn't want anything.

Lily is wearing her new dress and is trying hard to enjoy herself.

Brad goes to see Colleen. She's sad not understanding why her grandfather had to die. Brad tells her that it was just his time to go and then apologizes to her for keeping her in the dark about his past for so long. Colleen tells him that maybe sometime in the future, he will be able to tell her more about his family.

Gloria is arguing about Jack pulling the plug on his father. Michael tells her that she gave permission for Jack to do what John's wishes were. She says aloud that she wants John back, and Jack looks up and cries, "so do I."

Sharon leaves her home after hearing strange noises that begin to frighten her. She heads for the club to join the party for Lily.
