The jury finds Phyllis guilty. She was given the opportunity to remain free until her hearing however, because the judge decided that she wasn't a flight risk due to her family being in town.
Neil, Lily an Devon hoped that Phyllis would be thrown in jail, due to the loss of Dru, but to remember and honor Dru they decided instead to have a party. Devon remembered that Dru had always wanted to have a son and Neil reminded him how proud Dru was of him.
When Jack learned that Phyllis had been found guilty, he was in total shock. Jack was concerned what the news would do to Noah, but later he and Sharon got into it when Jack protected Phyllis by saying that she hadn't committed a murder and deserved to be with her child. Sharon and Jack tried to tell Noah what happened, but Noah blamed Sharon and wanted to move in with Nicholas instead. Jack came to her rescue by saying that his mother had to tell the truth in court or go to jail herself. Noah then forgave Sharon, but when Jack and Sharon were alone, Sharon's attempt with a "thank-you" for helping with Noah came to a head when he admitted that he lied. Sharon then realized that Jack thought that she was also responsible for Phyllis' trouble.
Phyllis spent motherly loving time holding onto her daughter. When Brad came in, Phyllis reminded him that he had lost his wife and now probably his board seat. Victor came in but surprised Phyllis as he stood up in support for her. He blamed Brad and his wife for what happened. While Lauren tried to get Michael to relax at dinner, Michael could only talk about keeping Phyllis out of jail. Phyllis began to panic about spending time in jail and Victor realized that Nikki liked the idea that Phyllis wouldn't be around to raise Summer.
