Nicholas and Phyllis search for words to talk to each other about, and Nicholas finally says that they should get out of there and talk. On the way to the elevator, Brad sees them leaving together. In the elevator, Phyllis tells Nicholas that she is glad that the baby is his. He tells her that he loves her and the baby all ready but he has made a decision all ready. Nicholas stops the elevator and the two continue to talk to each other.

Brad calls Sharon and reaches her at the club, where she is working. He tells her that he just saw Nicholas leaving with Phyllis on the elevator.

Colleen looks through the box of things that her father brought over and she and Lily laugh together about some of them.

JT finds an article, about a family that was slaughtered in Parma. He puts it together with a picture that he has in front of him. JT gets a call from Colleen, telling him that she can talk now, her Dad is gone, but now it is he who is busy and has to go. Daniel comes in to make up with Lily, for running out on her in the morning.

Kevin tells his Mom that she owes him, and he needs her help now.

Phyllis listens as Nicholas tells her that he made a decision. He loves her and the baby all ready but he has an obligation to fulfill and he intends to do so. She says that she understands and she too, has made a decision. She wants to raise this baby alone, without any help from him.

At the club, Sharon tells Brad that since Nicholas is back and contacted Phyllis, it must mean that he went to see her first, and wants to be with her.

Daniel gets a call from Kevin, telling him that he is at the bank with his Mother, getting the money. Kevin says that he will go by himself to meet Alex, because Daniel is tied up with Lily now.

JT calls a name of the list of people that were involved with the Kaplan murder case. After several tries, he is finally able to reach one person, who will help. She agrees to meet with Paul at the motel where he is staying.

Lily gives Daniel a heart to heart about people who lie to each other, and what eventually happens to them.

Kevin and Alex meet. Kevin does his best to not be taken for granted by Alex. He has the money that Alex asked for, but won't turn it over until he hears the tape and knows that he has the right one. When Alex tells him he doesn't have anything to play it on, Kevin produces a recorder to listen to it. Being satisfied, the two exchange what they came for and Alex starts to walk away. Before he does, he tells Kevin that he will need more money, and that he made a copy of the tape that Kevin is now holding.

Sharon goes to get on the elevator and encounters Phyllis and Nicholas at the doorway. Phyllis excuses herself, and Nicholas remains there as though he were waiting for the other shoe to drop. Sharon starts to walk, and Nicholas takes her into one of the offices.

Jack walks into Phyllis' office once again, but this time she has some news for him. She tells him that the results are in, and he doesn't have to worry about anything. He looks at Phyllis asking if Sharon knows yet, and then comments that he wouldn't want to be in her shoes right now.

Colleen pays a visit to her dad, driven by the guilt that she is holding in.

JT met with the mysterious woman. She asks him what it is he is doing with the case. He tells her that he is a PI, and checking out leads for someone.

The woman tells Paul that she is reminded of the day that she discovered the bodies. She had let herself in, and called out to them. When no one answered, whe sent on with her key,. She always wanted to know what kind of person would do something like that to a little girl. JT shows her the picture of the baseball team and the picture of some one you might know. She tells him that she wondered what kind of monster could do that to people. Jt lets her see the picture, and she picks out (our) Brad Carlton as the boy known as George Kaplan.
