Young and the Restless Recap: July 17, 2007

Victoria, having returned from the doctor's appointment for the baby, was told that her pregnancy was a normal one. She told J.T. that she hoped the baby was his. The moment was interrupted when Brad called to see her. While the two of them talked, Abby overheard Brad mention the baby that Victoria was carrying. She was thrilled that she was going to be a big sister. Brad arrived at J.T.'s and told him and Victoria that Adrian was looking into his family background. Brad asked Victoria to be careful while dealing with Adrian. He then told her that Abby knew that she was pregnant because of their telephone conversation. He warned Victoria that he would do anything to protect the baby, especially if it turns out to be his.

As Nicholas learned about "Cassie's Challenge" he decided that it was time to do another benefit. He learned that Sharon had worked on it and proceeded to ask her for her help again. Sharon was okay with it provided that it didn't interfere with her husband's schedule. She said that she would check on it. Later, Nicholas set up the possible dates for the benefit using the ones that coincided with Jack being away. Neil caught wind of what Nicholas was trying to do and warned him that he was all ready married to Phyllis and to stop thinking about Sharon.

Lily ripped into Daniel about his arrest. She attacked him from every way imagineable. Later, Lily went to her dad to tell him what had happened now. Neil suggested that she leave Daniel, because she was not raised to have the kind of life that he was giving her. Neil later approached Daniel, wondering what he did wrong to have her turn to someone like him. When Daniel got home, Devon jumped all over him telling him that he was better off just leaving. Then he hit Daniel while Lily stood at the door watching.

Michael sort of baby-sat William while enjoying a nip or two and conversing with someone who could not talk back to him. The more that Michael talked, the more he spoke of the family background of the Baldwin's and the Fisher's, and how even though misdirected Gloria sometimes was, she did not intend to harm anyone with the Jabot cosmetics, but herself, and that was only to help her then husband, John. William wrote Michael a note, which stated that he loved Gloria. He also wrote another which stated that he was not free to say or write anything. Then Will began to wheeze and cough, shocking Michael.
