Young and the Restless Recap: May 09, 2007

While everyone was dead set against helping Phyllis get out of her legal situation, Nick told his wife to remain relatively serene so that Summer would not be hurt. Michael told Phyllis that he would do everything possible to help her out.

Victor pushed forward telling Ji Min once again, that if he did not cooperate with him, he would bring him down as well as Jack. Victor told Ji Min that he would wait until the end of the day for his decision. Ji Min, with tape recorder in pocket, went to visit Jack using an unreal, but very outlandish deal, to tell him about. Ji Min said that he was going to back what he thought was a good deal. Jack snapped back at him, saying, that he had no right to do any such thing, and he better make sure to get out of any deals since Jack was the one who owned Jabot, the House of Kim and Ji Min himself.

As friends, Lily and Colleen chatted, Lily related what she had found of Daniel's. Now, she wasn't sure that she could trust her husband anymore. Both of them enlisted Kevin's help to check on Daniel's habits, but Kevin refused to do so since Daniel was his friend. Later, Daniel told Kevin what had happened, and Kevin gave him a stern warning to stop or lose Lily. Lily and Colleen proceeded with a plan of their own as they went home and checked out the "Strangers by Night" site. Suddenly Lily recognized someone's "body parts". Colleen suggested to her friend that she do something that would prove how involved Daniel was. Together, the girls put together a fake name and email and sent a message to Daniel. Daniel, checking out his email, was suddenly tempted by the response of "Lucious Lips."

Brad made a call to Victoria to check on how she was doing, and when Victor overheard him, Brad lied that Victoria had had morning sickness. He then told Colleen that Victoria had lost the baby.

Gloria met Michael and Kevin at the coffee house, where Kevin related that he was sure that Lauren would be more forgiving of what she did, with the cosmetics scandal. Gloria then told them both, some news of her own. She had proposed to William!!! Michael just sat back, wondering when the next shoe would drop.

Will wanted to talk with Gloria more about her offer and they set another time and place to meet. Gloria then recognized someone she hadn't seen in a long time. She visited with him and told him about John's death and the fact that she had moved forward with her life, had found someone, but had not yet "hooked" him. Taking her friend with her, they headed for the club where they ran into Will. Asking Will to join them, which he did, Will suddenly found himself in a very awkward situation, much to his dislike.

Jack and Nikki talked about a meeting of the minds and decided to face the press jointly about the partner situation with Phyllis. They announced that for the time being, Phyllis would be on a leave from the company.

Ji Min contacted Victor telling him that he had the "goods" on Jack. Victor was ecstatic anticipating Jack Abbott's being brought to his knees.
