'Young and the Restless' Recap: May 07, 2008

Adam stood inside Victoria's now vacated office knowing that it would be his. He looked as though he wasn't quite sure if he should be happy about the move or not. Meanwhile Victor had something else to offer to Adam. Instead of remaining at the club, Victor saw no reason why Adam shouldn't move out to the ranch since his other family was all gone. Adam suggested that he would give it some serious thought.

While welcoming the newest employee to Jabot, Jill, Nikki, David and Brad immediately went to work on a project. Victoria came up with a plan which was readily accepted by David and Nikki. In the meantime, Jill was a little less favorable to the idea and told Brad as she wondered if it was such a good idea for Nikki and Victoria to work so close to each other. In the meantime David came up with an idea of his own and soon the threesome was headed to make their ideas a reality.

In a conversation with Jana, Colleen mentioned that she had been offered a work study position at the Shanghai gallery. Jana had some news of her own, as she informed her sweetie that she had been offered a position as an assistant to Victor Newman's art curator. He was happy for it even if it meant that she would be working only part-time at the coffee house. Kevin jokingly told her that it was fine with him since she got a lot of orders wrong anyway.

Lily arrived home and upon meeting up with Cane, revealed that she had been avoiding him. It wasn't because of him, but rather, the miscarriage that was troubling her. They agreed to meet later and talk about what happened. As the two decided to start over, each admitted to taking it slow and just dating each other.

Colleen told Adrian that she didn't want him to publish his book, but he became angry because she was the one who pushed him into writing it. She told him that she had given the advance copy that Adrian gave to her, to her father, so he could read it.

Brad was acting as though he were not quite sure that Victoria wouldn't do something erratic in favor of the Newman dynasty. She assured him that no insider information would be leaked because of her.

When David and Nikki were alone, she told him how proud she was of him and the idea that he had just put into being for Jabot. She was so thrilled that she was now willing to set a wedding date, which would be in August. Victoria entered later, not too thrilled at the news but at the same time happy that her mother was thrilled.

Brad, in a single moment was able to bring more damage to David's gambling. He heard David placing a bet on the phone, and then made a call of his own. He wanted his own bookie to get David to place a really sizable bet. Brad then met up with David and suggested that they put together a plan to repay the money Brad had loaned to him.

Adrian headed over to see Brad after learning that Colleen had given him a copy of the book.
