'Young and the Restless' Recap: April 15, 2008

While downing breakfast at the club, Alistair was busy telling Jill what had happened at the Abbott house. It seems that Alistair had to play "hero" and rescue Gloria from the clutches of Jeffrey when she was locked in the wind cellar in the basement of the house. Jill was absolutely delighted at the story and wanted Alistair to be there to comfort Gloria whenever she needed it. Alistair was happy at her response and sped on his way. Jill then saw Jeffrey and joined him at his table. Jill made several comments about Gloria, but Jeffrey put her off until he was forced to admit that they were having problems. Jeffrey, thinking that Jill was being nosy was curious to the reason that she was asking so many questions about his private life. Jill, evading answering directly, simply said that she wanted Jill to be happy.

Alistair made a visit to Gloria at the mansion and found her getting ready to leave the mansion for good. She told him that she had lost her family in the battle for the house and she couldn't stand it anymore. Jeffrey arrived and was shocked to find his things out on the lawn. Gloria told him that Alistair was there as her guest, because he treated her better. To make her point hit home, she kissed Alistair, to make Jeffrey jealous, so no one actually thought she was falling in love with him. After Jeffrey left, Gloria asked that Alistair also leave. Alistair went to find Jill to tell her that Gloria left the mansion and kicked out Jeffrey.

Chloe was beginning to get excited about the itinerary that she was spewing out to Lily, one word after another. When she finally stopped long enough to breathe, she inquired if Lily was still vomiting. Lily told her that she never did vomit to stay thin. Cane then arrived to tell Chloe that Lily and he had to meet with Nikki. Being suspicious, Chloe called Nikki's office to find out that Nikki would be out all day. Chloe ran into Neil and told him that she felt Lily wasn't giving her all to her modeling career. She wanted Neil to do what he could to address the subject with Lily. Neil said that he would, but he believed that Lily really wanted her education more than the modeling.

Back at the mansion, Jack, Sharon and Noah arrived to start their move back into the house. Gloria did try to be civil but Jack would not thank her for returning the house that he grew up in, to him and his family. Gloria just said that she finally felt it was the right thing for her to do. When she left, Jack was alone and suddenly John turned up, to tell his son, that he should have thanked Gloria for what she did. Then John told Jack that from now on, he would be responsible for his own doing. It was time for him to take action by himself.

Lily met with her father to tell him her news. She was very nervous but knew that it had to be done. He could see that she was bothered by something, but had no idea what it was. Lily then told him that she was pregnant. Neil told his daughter that he hoped more for her, but he loved her and would support whatever it was that she did. She told him that she still wasn't sure if she wanted the baby.
