'Young and the Restless' Recap: April 09, 2008

Waiting for a special moment to happen between the two of them, Jeffrey planned a special "lunch-date" for Gloria and himself. Leaving to pick up his order, Gloria answered the door to find Kyon facing her. The woman claimed that Gloria stole Jeffrey away from her, and Gloria became sympathetic, although I can't imagine why, and invited her in. Taking Kyon to the wine cellar as they chatted, Gloria found herself locked in, thanks to a smooth move by Kyon.

In the meantime a curious Alistair walked into the unlocked door of the mansion looking for "his perfect vision of a woman" only to be seen by Kyon who was now back upstairs. She finally was able to get him out of the house. Jeffrey returned home with lunch only to be told by Kyon that Gloria had left him. He was not amused by her or her actions as she opened her dress to expose what Jeffrey had been missing. While being seduced by Kyon, a pre-occupied Jeffrey was unable to see Alistair come back in the front door to search for his Gloria. Victoria was more agitated when she ran into Adam at the office. She muddled something to the effect that he should consider himself lucky, because if Nicholas were still here, Adam would be nowhere. Telling JT all about it, she agreed to JT investigating the background of her half-brother.

Once again, Sabrina prepared to leave town. This time Victor stopped her by offering her a job so that she would be able to stay in Genoa City. Victoria was thrilled to learn that her friend would be staying but upset that she was taken off the "Beauty of Nature" project. Victoria had another surprise for Sabrina when she asked her to be the godmother of Reed, which Sabrina was happy to accept.

Felicia went over to see Nikki for the specific purpose of using Lily for the new Forrester ad campaign. Nikki didn't want to wear Lily too thin with too much work, but she agreed to loaning Lily to Forresters. Cane came in and was told about the deal, and became concerned for Lily, knowing that it might be too much for her, in her condition.

Later, Lily wanting to spend some time alone, suddenly wanted her friend Colleen, to talk with. Meeting with her, Lily told her that she was pregnant. She also told Colleen that she was confused because she didn't need the pregnancy. She all ready had way too much on her plate. Colleen told Lily that she needed to go and see a doctor and to tell her father the inevitable.

Karen was busy moving into Neil's place and still wanting to make sure that they approved of the idea. He assured her that it was fine with them, but then remembered that it was just a year before that he had lost Dru. He wanted to see his children then and took off. Lily told Devon that she had something to tell him, but he was surprised when she mentioned her up and coming trip to LA. Out of frustration, he brings up the subject of having found what was in the contents of her package that was dropped on the floor. Lily finally admits that she is pregnant and tells Devon how much she misses Dru and wishes she was there with her now.
