Neil called Nicholas with good news concerning Nicholas' offer to come on board his new magazine. Neil thought the opportunity was a good one for the company.
Michael, having returned to town from business told Kevin, Gloria and Lauren that while he was gone, he checked in on Jeffrey's "girlfriend" in Korea. He told them that Jeffrey was going to relocate there and taking Gloria's money with him. Gloria was sure it could happen after he put her in jail. Michael and Lauren were then invited over for dinner while Kevin and Gloria continued with their plan to make Jeffrey look like the evil one.
Victor met with his daughter after returning home from Hope's place and told her about Victor Jr. He let his daughter know that he had extended an invitation to his son to come to Genoa City and work at Newman's. Victoria was unsure why he would offer him a position at work, but Victor told her that he was very well qualified to join the company.
Back at the Abbott mansion, Sharon was showing Jack what she had discovered. He wondered why a spy-cam would be in their living room. Jack removed it and then viewed its contents, where it was revealed that Jeffrey seemed to have something in his possession that looked like he could be taking it or putting it back. Jeffrey then came into the room and Jack again offered to buy out their half of the house, with a more than generous offer. Later, he told Jack that he would take his offer but after talking with Gloria, she refused to go along with it saying that she would never give up the house. In the meantime, the guests arrived for Gloria's dinner party and she sipped away at her drink with the poison in it.
Nikki ran into Victor and told him how sorry she was to hear about Hope. He had all ready become aware that JT, Victoria and the baby had moved and Nikki informed him that she also would be leaving shortly. Brad was going to end his doings at Newman's and join her at Jabot, which brought David to tell Nikki that he wasn't so sure about Brad. Nikki told him that Brad was a good businessman and she thought he would be an asset to the company.
