Young and the Restless Recap: February 06, 2008

Just as the police with Maggie's directing them, finished all the searching that they had to do at Jack's place, Sharon came home. Jack announced to everyone, including Jeffrey and his "blushing bride" (yeah, right!!) that nothing incriminating had been found. Sharon mentioned to Jack later, that if Victor was pushing for someone to find Jack guilty, he wouldn't stop, but Jack said that he had nothing to fear, because he was innocent. After finding Gloria in a chat with Noah, Sharon intervened and took Noah over to Nick's house. In the meantime Gloria was elated that her being in the Abbott house was upsetting Jack to no end.

Jt came in with an outfit for Reed, perfect for attending his mom and dad's wedding. It was a baby tuxedo, which pleased Victoria. In the meantime Nicholas told his mother that since Noah was to be a part of the wedding, it was only right that Sharon should be asked to attend. It seemed like a good idea except that it meant that Jack would also be there, and that could be a problem. Nicholas said that if that were the case, it would be up to his father to deal with it.

Phyllis was to be Victoria's matron of honor while Paul was asked to be the best man. With the bridal party all set, Victoria made a call to her father to see him. While talking with him, she could tell that something was on his mind, but he put her off. After calling making another call to Hope, he said that he would be leaving as soon as Victoria's wedding was over. Victoria tried to walk over to Reed but found herself unable to do so. JT entered the room and found her upset that she would be unable to walk down the aisle. He promised her that both he and Victor would be there to hold her up and nothing would happen to her again. At the office, Victor offered Neil, Nicholas' vacated job as co-CEO of Newman's, which Neil accepted.

Cane came downstairs just as Katherine's doctor had told her that she was doing well but had to take it easy. Cane was concerned but Katherine dismissed his concern, as Amber came in. Cane was not a happy man, as he started to spar with Amber about always being where he was. Katherine saved her by admitting that he had to get over it, because she and Amber were friends. After everyone had left, Katherine began to tell Amber about some of the stories from her past. They both were enjoying the conversation and as Amber gave Katherine a little bit of a break, she returned to find her asleep on the sofa.

Jill made the introductions as she introduced Lily to the woman who would be advising Lily in her new role as model. When Cane came in, Chloe, the adviser took notice of Cane. Putting her off, at lunch Lily and Chloe chatted about Cane. Chloe immediately had caught the "sexual tension" going on between Cane and Lily. Before Lily could explain anything, Neil came in but decided to leave when Cane entered the room. A few moments shared between Lily and Cane revealed Lily's feelings for Cane as she admitted that she was falling in love with him.
