Gloria introduces herself to Victor. She is the new Mrs. John Abbott. She tells him that she has heard two sides about Victor and she wants to know which one she should believe, his friends or his enemies? Gloria and Victor talk. She tells him that she is there only to find out how to help her husband, John. Gloria tells Victor that Jack says he is setting things up to take over Jabot. Victor tells her that if Jack believes that he is either stealing or taking the company away Jack is a fool. He warns that she should see Jack the way he is or he will lead you astray.
Adrienne asks Malcolm, if he would like her to stay in Genoa City? Malcolm tells Adrienne he thinks they should cool seeing each other. She questions his decision and he tells her that she should not throw away something that might be right for her. She tells him that she has a date with Damon later.
Damon takes Adrienne to the stables out at the Newman Ranch. She relives a lot of the past along with Damon, and cries. Damon, concerned about her feelings, asks her if she wants to leave, but she says no. Things remind her of Elias and she is glad to be there. It brings a closeness to them both. She is concerned that he is looking for something, perhaps a connection to happier times. She tells him that she is not the same woman any longer, she is stronger now. They prepare to go for a ride and she tells Damon, that he has helped her a lot.
Kevin runs into Michael at Crimson Lights. Michael and he talk about things in general and then things in particular. Michael talks to Kevin about a job which will make him feel more worthwhile, and Kevin talks about Lauren and that Michael should do everything to please her, and not spend all of his time at work. Michael tells Kevin how proud he is of him and the fact that he is trying to do the right things and make the right choices.
Phyllis makes a call to Damon and they meet. She tells him that Michael will be joining them shortly. Phyllis tells Damon that despite his serenity, the plan that she has, may be all that he has left in the hopes of proving himself innocent. Damon and Phyllis continue to talk and discuss the case. Paul is now there and Damon is notified that Chris is out of town. Michael arrives. He is not approving of what is about to happen. Phyllis is told to do no ad-libbing and Paul asks Michael if he is going to let Phyllis deal with this on her own? Phyllis makes an appointment to meet with the DA, Glenn Richards. She goes to his office, and passes herself off, in disguise, as Sondra King, a a journalist from Georgia. She is there to follow up on the story about a suspect they are holding, who was implicated in the crime against a little boy.
Ashley tells Nikki, after going to Nikki's office, that she doesn't blame Nikki for not trusting her. Ashley tells Nikki, she still doesn't trust Victor fully in this business deal either. Nikki says that she has a lot of doubts in someone that is going to help her company. Ashley tells her that she is fundamentally unsure of him and wonders if she might keep an eye on Victor for her. Nikki is flabbergasted.
Brittany is telling JT what has happened so far. She wants to know where the skeleton is now, and JT tells her that the police have it. She wants to know if they are sure it is Joshua's remains. JT has to leave to meet Colleen and Brittany remains behind thinking.
At Crimson Lights, a friend surprises Colleen with a visit. It's Zack from New York, with a wonderful idea for the two of them. He has borrowed his Grandfather's car, and taken a semester off from school. He is planning on driving across the country and wants her to accompany him. He gives her a hello kiss, which Kevin happens to spot. A short time later, JT enters and walks up to the table where Colleen and Zack are sitting.
Michael is at the office as Lauren enters. He asks her if by some chance, she is wearing another one of those cute little sexy outfits, because he could use a little distraction just about now. She teases him, but alas, the answer is no. He has a better idea though, and they leave the office.
