Young and the Restless Recap: January 15, 2008

At the club, Sharon gave Jack all the information about her up and coming trip, to promote business. Jack told her that he would soon be meeting with Gloria and her lawyers to settle his father's estate. Sharon was glad that Jack was going forward with something positive. When they ran into Brad, he told Sharon that he hoped her trip was a good one and then behind her back, he called and made a reservation for himself.

Colleen chatted with her dad and discovered what his plans were in regards to Sharon. She wasn't happy that he was pursuing Sharon on her trip.

John Abbott paid his son another visit, and was happy to learn about the foundation that was going to be in his name, but he wondered how serious his son was, when he said that he hoped Sharon would be running it. John thought that it was Jack's way of keeping Sharon close by and controlling what it was that she was doing.

Daniel was keeping busy by looking for a job. Amber was trying to give him some help but nothing was working at the time. She turned away at the coffeehouse to wait on Jill, Katherine and Cane who came in. As they ordered, Amber tried to find out any information that she could on the "New Fresh Face of Jabot" contest. Jill mentioned after Amber left, that she was happy Amber could not be a part of the contest. Later, Cane overheard Amber tell someone that she hoped Lily would win. When the name Marina came up, Daniel was concerned that Amber would not know what to do, if she won. Taking some time himself, Daniel turned his mind to Heather, and got a chance to ask her out. She turned him down.

David had a rough meeting with Victor as he did his best to get Victor to back off a bit on Nikki's debt. All Victor was concerned about was getting Nikki to pay him what she owed. Later, Nikki and Victor continued to argue over her debt to him, what she rightfully owned herself. She offered NVP as one of her assets but Victor told her that she wouldn't be able to do that much longer.

Talking to David later, Nikki was asked by David to give him up so that Victor wouldn't go so hard on her, but she refused. She told him that she had fallen in love with him and accepted his proposal of marriage, saying that Victor would never control her again.

Colleen called her "Uncle Jack" and revealed that she knew her father was going to follow Sharon to Chicago. In the meantime, Sharon was very surprised when she opened up her door to Brad.
