James: Ash, honey, we've been here for days, no one knows we're here.
Ashley: I'm just a little scared, you know. I gotta admit, though, it is
exciting being on the run like this.
James: Isn't it, though? It's even more fun determining what's next for the
scum in this city.
Ashley: So, I see you've been thinking about it.
James: You bet, I have! Genoa City is about to get an unexpected blow and we're gon' be the deliverers.
Ashley: Good, first, we start with the Newmans, and then, we take the whole damn city...
James: Yes, Baby. Yes.
Ashley: One question though?--What is your plan?
(Dramatic music plays as James smile evilishly.)

Henry: Yeah. Well, its personal to me, but itd be business between us.
Paul: Really?
Henry: Yeah. I want you to investigate my wife. I think shes cheating on me.
(Paul has a flashback of him sleeping with Nikki, then telling Victor about it.)
Paul: What gives you that idea?
Henry: Shes been acting weird lately. Shes been
distant. I dont know whats going on. Of course, I hope thats not the case, but I want to be sure.
Paul: Are you sure you want me to do this?
Henry: I dont have a choice. I have got to know. Can you help me?
Paul: If there is something to find or not to find, Im the man for you.
(Dramatic music ends as dramatic music plays.)

(The doorbell rings. JT goes over to open it.)
JT: Lily, what are you doing here?
Lily: (smiling): Can I come in?
JT: Sure..shouldn't you be at Devon's funeral?
Lily: (sits on sofa): Could I get some water or something.
JT: Sure.
(JT is talking while he is getting Lily's water, but she doesn't hear him. Sounds of Devon's voice saying kill JT rings in Lily's head as she fiddles with the gun in her purse.)
(Dramatic music ends the scene.)
Next Scene: (Neil walks to the podium at Devons funeral.)
Neil: Devon was more than just a son to me. He quickly became one of my friends
my fellow basketball player
and even coworker. He had an internship at Newman. This was my boy. He was
my friend. Even as I stand before you today, I cant believe I am talking to him in the past tense. So I wont any further. Devon was not a good kid. Devon is a great kid. He was not a loving member of this community. He is a loving member of this community. I want to take this time to tell you all something. As I stand here today, I want to advise you all to tell the people that you love, you love them while you still can. Dont wait until its to late. As a matter of fact, I want you to do that now.
(I Love Yous spread throughout the church.)
Michael: (Kisses Lauren.): I love you, Baby.
Lauren: I love you.
Kevin: (hugs Colleen): I love you.
Colleen: I love you
so much.
Jack: (to Jill): I love you, sweetheart.
Jill: I love you.
Nikki: (to Victor): I love you, Victor.
(Victor doesnt answer.)
(Dru and Neil walk up to the casket.)
Dru: I love you, Baby.
Neil: We both do. We love you so much, Son.
(They both hug and fall to the floor in front of the casket.)
(Sad music ends scene.)
Next Scene: (At the cabin, Ashley just inquired about what James's plans were.)
James: We'll start with the Newmans. What's their strongest chain?
Ashley: Victor, of course.
James: Yeah. We'll take care of the old geezer, then bring the whole family down to their knees, ending with the little boy.
Ashley: Victor's not an easy capture.
James: You really underestimate me.
Ashley: No. Not that, I just no Victor too well.
James: Here's how I see it...Victor probably thinks you're crazy, but deep down, from what you've told me, he'd do anything to help you because he's in love with you.
Ashley: Right.
James: That's it. He helps you, we got him.
Ashley: But that would mean.---That's right. Mrs. Ashley Abbott is ready
for her close up, once again.
(Ashley and James both smile evil smiles as dramatic music ends the scene.)
