About the Show:
Watch Over Me centers around the lives of the beautiful Julia (Dayanara Tores ), and her fiance Michael (Marc Menard). Michael is a wealthy man, involved in many not-so-wholesome enterprises, who hires a bodyguard, Jack (Todd Cahoon) to protect both himself and his fiance from the people he has unsavory dealings with. True to soap opera form Julia and Jack fall for each other and fight the growing attraction as they try to hide their feelings from those around them. Unfortunately this dosn't work for long and rumors start to swirl around them putting them in grave danger.

Fun Fact:
Two of the Watch Over Me cast members are real-life husband and wife. Who? Casper Van Dien and Catherine Oxenberg. The two previously had their own reality TV show I Married a Princess.

About myNetworkTV's soap operas:
These soap operas are a departure from what most American's know as primetime soaps. myNetworkTV has taken their cue from the highly popular Spanish programming known as telenovelas. Telenovelas are short run soap operas. They have a pre-defined number of episodes and usually only run for a 'season'.

The myNetworkTV soap operas are set to run for 13 weeks with no re-runs. They will air daily episodes Monday through Friday with a recap episode on Saturday. Once the original 13 week run is finished, the show will be taken off the air and replaced with a new soap opera.
