GRAVES-- Whitney or Hypocritney or Psychotney.. choose your preferred title. I HATE THIS GIRL! They have completely assassinated her character. There is absolutely no redemption now. The way she speaks to her mother is appalling-- if I even THOUGHT of talking to my mother like that-- I would be eating through a straw. And then-- even though it has been DEAD and BURIED for a long time-- Whitney refuses to take her own responsibility for Simone's pain. I am not saying that Simone has ANY right to still be harping on the "Chad loved me first" train.. but the fact remains that Whitney FORCED Chad to lie to Simone for years.. and even asked Chad to pose as her boyfriend. What did you think was going to happen, you self-righteous witch?? With all the "shut-ups" and slapping that Whitney has been doing-- she has become downright one-dimensional.. and too bad, the writers have chose the dimension that turns her into TC's clone. BOO, HISS!
RAVES-- Theresa and little Ethan were reunited. The only down thing that I have on that-- is why couldn't they have made that reunion a little more personal.. a little more emotional? Did they have to have Theresa whisper all her schemes into her son's ear?? I figure, kids have the loosest lips around-- so Theresa needs to tread VERY lightly on the whole "telling-people-about-THE-PLAN" thing. The less people who even hear about it.. the BETTER.
GRAVES-- TC and Liz. I have no comments on this-- this week's scenes spoke for themselves.. and I just have no need to regurgitate it. I cannot WAIT for this week's scenes where TC realizes that Liz is just after his "night moves' and kicks her to the curb-- NOW THERE will be something to write about.
GRAVES-- The whole K-Mart/Shuis situation in Mexico. The scenes with Sheridan and Katherine made me want to throw things at my television. These are WAY too predictable. Sheridan "feels" a connection, yet-- doesn't pick up that it is her mom.. Luis is spouting that he'll kill his father if he's alive.. BLAH BLAH BLAH, BLECH!! This is a waste of my TIVO space..
RAVES-- One thing about the Mexico scenes this week that I liked were Luis's memory of almost drowning while fishing with Martin. But it also gets a GRAVES as well-- because it showed that Martin had true devotion to his family.. which makes me question ALL THE MORE why he believed that it was the right thing to leave Harmony and save Katherine.
I'm sorry-- if they had been in love AT THE TIME they left Harmony, maybe I could understand it. Martin would still be a dog-- but I do believe in the whole "true-love-conquers-all" thing. But-- this is not the case. Martin and Katherine had NO feelings for each other at the time. So let me get this straight-- Martin left his wife and FIVE children, for the woman of the manor? The wife of the man who tried to kill him? He deserted his family to keep Katherine from dying, due to Alistiar's abuse? No, No, and NO. There is absolutely no justification for this-- and I cannot wait for Martin to get witch-slapped by Pilar when he returns. And the butt-whooping that Martin will face at the hands of Luis will definitely be TIVO-worthy :)
GRAVES-- Paloma. For once and again, for now and forever.. UNTIL THIS GIRL comes to her senses-- I will forever be placing her on the negative end of ANY column I write. This is such a wasted opportunity by the writers. They could have made Paloma a strong-willed ally to Theresa and brought her to Harmony. But no-- they have her sniveling like a 4 year old whose mother won't buy her the new Malibu Barbie. And what in the world is she doing believing some RANDOM STRANGER who put his hand over her mouth and told her NOT to tell anyone that he was there? If he were a *true ally*, he would have told her everything IN FRONT of her own brother. But nope-- they make Paloma a complete idiot who would believe ANYTHING rather than believe that her family did the best they could to provide for her once her *wastard* of a father left them high and dry.
Well-- only one more week until the Olympics break-- I'm looking forward to some downtime from the show-- hopefully this week will be as exciting as it looks..
Til next week, Censor
