35th Annual Daytime Emmy Award NomineesApr 30 2008 Soap Opera nominations for the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy AwardsCBS soaps take the lead in nominations again with an amazing 51 nominations for the network. Only one less nomination than last year.
-The Young and the Restless moves back into the top spot this year with 17 Emmy nominations. -Guiding Light garnered only 13 nominations. Down from last year's 16 Emmy nods. -One Life to Live also scored 13 nominations this year. -As the World Turns follows close behind with 12 nominations. -The Bold and the Beautiful was awarded 9 nominations this year, up from 7 last year. -All My Children was next with 8, General Hospital and Days of Our Lives were both tied with 6 Emmy nods each. Passions brings up the rear with only 4 nominations this year. The 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony will air on ABC June 20th at 8:00pm ET. The Main Daytime Soap Opera Nominees are....
