Guiding Light Recap: December 28, 2004

Gus comes to Company and asks Frank where everyone is. "You can thank our new owner, Lizzie Spaulding." Frank asks Gus why he's there. "For the same reason you are."  Frank tells Gus that Buzz doesn't know.  Buzz comes in and asks "What don't I know?" At this time Alan comes in and tells Buzz that they're "trying to figure out a way to tell you that Harley is in jail where she belongs."

Dinah is at the barn on Cassie's farm. "You are the one who always wins and I lose."

Tammy tries on her bride's maid gown and she thinks about Jonathon. Sandy comes by to see Tammy to find out if she wanted to go skating. Cassie comes  in and sees Sandy and Tammy together. Cassie says to Sandy "I haven't seen you in a while." Cassie reminds Tammy that the dress needs alterations today. Tammy goes into the fitting room, and Cassie tells Sandy that "I had plans to spend the day with Tammy today...you can see her at home...I know that she's living with you." Sandy leaves, and Tammy comes from the fitting room and is angry that Reva sent Sandy away.

Jonathon is sneaking around the Beacon. He's trying to find a key to the room where Tammy and Cassie will be staying.

Tammy tells Cassie that "You haven't got rid of Sandy all together. He's my date for your wedding." Cassie is surprised to hear this. Tammy says "if he's not good enough there's always time to find a replacement....how about JB?"

Edmund asks RJ for permission to marry his mother. RJ says "Didn't mommy already say yes?"  Edmund says that she did, but he wants to make sure that it was Ok with the kids.  Jonathon comes in and tells the boys to listen to their new daddy because "you will want to stay on his good side...and I am speaking from experience."

Buzz is upset that Harley was arrested and he lashes out at Frank. Buzz goes on about Ruth Karloff.  Gus tells Buzz that there is not Ruth Karloff...."Ruth Karloff is Harley Cooper."  Gus tells Buzz that she invented her to get a job with Philip and things got out of hand. Frank tells Buzz that they have blood evidence linking Harley to the crime.

Alan tells Frank that Harley should not get preferential treatment.  "I got you your job back and I can take it away." Buzz goes after Alan and Frank tries to separate the two.  Jeffrey O'Neal comes and tells them that they're both going to be arrested.  Gus tries to calm Alan down.  Alan prepares to leave and he tells Gus that his allegiances mixed up. 

Gus approaches Buzz. Buzz lashes out at Gus and says "I want to know how you got my daughter into this mess."

RJ asks Jonathon: "who are you?" Jonathon introduces himself to RJ and says it would be great if he could hang out with them and get to know them better.  Edmund tries to get Jonathon to leave but Jonathon says that he is not in any hurry and asks Edmund to tell him about the big wedding that he is going to miss.

Tammy tells Cassie that Sandy is a good guy and "you treat him like he and JB are the same person."  Cassie says that he's keeping her away from her family. "I am doing that...not Sandy." Cassie asks Tammy if she and Sandy are involved. "You mean...are we having sex? I can see how you would think that." Cassie tells Tammy that she is just concerned about her and she wants her to be with a guy that treats her right and won't hurt her.
