Guiding Light Recap: December 14, 2004

Rick turns up missing. Mel can't find him anywhere. He's at the basketball court pretending to play some b-ball with Phillip. Beth finds him there and she stays and talks with Rick for a while.  Rick tells Beth that she may be the only one to understand how much he misses Philip.

Danny takes Robbie to the hospital to see Buzz. Robbie becomes upset when he sees all the holiday decorations and tells Danny that "it won't be Christmas without mommy." Danny tells Robbie that Christmas is going to be fun even if Michelle can't be there.

Michelle is locked up with Holly. Michelle yells for Sebastian. Holly tells Michelle that Sebastian is sick and sometimes he gets irrational. Michelle reminds Holly that Tony is sick to from the spider bite and if they don't get back to the beach to find him he will die.

Sandy and Tammy go to Company. Sandy says that he needed a change of scenery and that he was tired of Farley's.  Tammy says "You are just tired of running into JB."   Tammy and Sandy discuss writing a play together.  Unfortunately, Jonathon shows up at Company.

Marina presents Robbie with a small gift. She tells him that it was from his mother and he can't open it until Christmas morning.  Danny thanks Marina for coming to the rescue. "I owe you one." Danny tells Marina. Marina says that she would like to cash in on that now.

Sebastian tells Michelle that he doesn't care whether Tony survives or not. "I am the one who needs to survive." Sebastian tells Michell and Holly. Michelle reminds Sebastian that she is his only link to getting to Ed and if he doesn't save Tony then she's not going to try and reach him until Tony is OK.  Sebastian calls his helper and tells him to get the first aid kit so that they can go find Tony.  They prepare to head out, and Holly tells Michelle not to tell Sebastian that she doesn't know how to get in touch with Ed.

Sandy gets a call at Company. The waitress comes and tells him that he will have to take the call in the kitchen. Sandy goes into the kitchen, and Jonathon approaches Tammy.  He tells her that "Sandy wants you in the worst way.....only thing is...you're damaged goods."  Tammy becomes upset and walks away from Jonathon.

Marina and Danny go back to Company. They set up to sell holiday trees for charity.

Michelle, Sebastian, and his helper find Tony on the beach.  He is not doing well.  They give Tony a shot of medication and he comes around.  Sebastian says "Let's go." Michelle tells Sebastian that Tony is not well enough to leave yet and she wants to wait.  Sebastian says "too bad--let's get back so you can call Ed."

Tammy lashes out at Sandy. "Jonathon was right! You don't want to sleep with me because I am damaged goods!" Tammy storms out of Company.

Rick and Beth play basketball. Rick helps Beth make a basket. He says "We're not leaving on this trip until you make the shot." Beth throws the basketball and misses the hoop. Mel catches the basketball and says "What trip?"  Rick tells her of his plans to charter a sailboat and just get away for a while. Mel tells Rick that he's a grown man with responsibilities and his idea of chartering a sailboat is a little far fetched.  Rick grabs his jacket and storms off "I have to go take care of my responsibilities!"  Mel thanks Beth for not calling her to let her know where Rick was. Beth says "I am not Rick's mother....I am his friend....can you say the same?"

Danny thanks Marina again for coming to the rescue with Robbie this afternoon. Marina says that it was nothing. Danny kisses Marina under the mistletoe. His cell phone rings, it's Michelle "Dad! Dad is that you? Can you hear me?"
