Guiding Light Recap: November 17, 2004

Bill finds a flyer from the police with a sketch of Ruth on it.  He calls Harley and leaves a message for her to call him about their "friend Ruth."  Olivia comes to Bill and takes the picture. She asks Bill "Is she your Spaulding mole? Did you hire a possible murderer on purpose?"

Tammy and Sandy go to Farley's bar. Tammy says that it's time for her to own up to what JB did to her.  Dinah welcomes Tammy back.

Jonathon jumps into the fountain and he welcomes his mother to the country club and tells her to join him in the fountain because he's saved her a spot.  Jonathon tells Reva that Lizzie told him that he was nothing, so technically he doesn't exist. Reva yells at Jonathon to get out of the fountain.

Coop finds Lizzie in the Spaulding den and she's crying.  Lizzie tells Coop to keep his thoughts to himself. Coop says that he knows that the Spauldings aren't big on "emoting" and he says "if you can't cry for you own father..." Coop tells Lizzie not to worry because he's not going to tell anyone that she is human.  Coop lays his suit on a chair in the den.  Lizzie asks him what he's doing.  Coop says that since Philip is gone then he doesn't need to be Lizzie's chauffeur any longer.  Lizzie says "I don't think so."

Olivia asks Bill what he knows about Ruth being the prime suspect in Philip's shooting. Bill assures Olivia that he wants to protect her, and he says that he knows enough about Ruth to know that she's not a killer.  Bill tells Olivia that he doesn't know where Ruth is.  Olivia goes to feed Emma, and Billy arrives.  He says "Hello son, I see that you are still with Olivia." Billy says that he thought that since Philip is now gone Bill would not need to stay with Olivia.

Jonathon tells Reva that she's just like that butler who wouldn't let him in the country club.  "I am not good enough, never have been, never will be."  He stands up and takes his shirt off and yells "Come see the newest loser in Springfield!  Reva Shayne's little boy."  Reva just looks at him and says "you are my son...."

Dinah tells Tammy that she hopes that she had a good trip.  Tammy returns the car keys, and Dinah leaves. Tammy tells Sandy that she can't believe that she talked to Dinah.  Tammy asks Sandy if she seems different after what JB did to her.  Sandy tells Tammy that it's all in her head.  A guy approaches Tammy and tells her that she's looking hot tonight.  Sandy sends to guy away and Tammy tells Sandy "he knows..."  Cassie arrives and she hugs Tammy.

Bill and Billy argue about Olivia. Billy says that he just wants to make amends. He says that he talked to the people at the INS and told them that Bill's marriage to Olivia was legit.  Billy leaves, Olivia comes back with Emma. Bill is glad to see Emma and he talks to her.  Olivia tells Bill to cut the act. Bill asks her what she's talking about.  "You're not going to use my daughter to stick it to your father."

Lizzie tells Coop that she can't drive and it's Frank's fault that her license was suspended. Lizzie goes on about her father, and Coop cuts in and tells Lizzie that  he's sorry about Philip, but he tells Lizzie these last several months her father was a monster and she shouldn't make him out to be a hero. Lizzie tells Coop that he's just like everyone else.

Cassie asks Tammy to tell her where she's been and that she has been worried about her.  Cassie tells Tammy that she was worried about her, and she wants Tammy to come home.  Tammy tells Cassie that she is not going home until she figures out what made her open up to a creep like JB.

Jonathon asks Reva if anything is rattling around in her head about how she could have been a better mother. Reva says that they could go back and forth on that all night. Jonathon says that he's not buying her excuses. Reva tells Jonathon that he's not any better than anyone else. Jonathon tells Reva, "I am the boy that you wish would go back where he came from." Reva tells him that is not true. Jonathon tells Reva to just walk away and leave him alone. Reva takes her shoes off and she pushes Jonathon down into the fountain and tells him that she can't do that.
