Guiding Light Recap: November 04, 2004

From MMWAP, for About.com

Josh has JB taken in for "stealing his wallet."  He and Billy are waiting for him at the police station.  JB says "Woo-hoo! I feel like I died and gone to redneck heaven!"  Josh and Billy threaten JB and tell him that they want him to leave town and never come back.  Josh gives JB an envelope and tells him that it's his inheritance and he wants JB to take it and get lost.

Ruth talks Lizzie into going to the police station to confess what she knows about the accident.

Zach lets it slip to Philip that "Mommy" is Ruth.  Philip is shocked to hear the news.

Cassie and Richard are in front of the strip joint and they go in to rescue Tammy.  Cassie shows Tammy's photo to the bouncer, but he says that he has never seen her.  The bouncer goes to get the manager for Cassie.  Cassie asks the stripers if they've seen Tammy. They recognize Cassie as a former striper and the girls and the manager taunt Cassie about it and they ask her to strip for them before they give her any information. Jeffrey flashes his badge, and tells them that they need to back off.  They say that they've not seen Tammy.  Cassie and Jeffrey leave the strip club and continue to search for Tammy.

Tammy is at the docks. She is very upset over what had happened between JB and her.  She thinks back to when her mother told her that JB was really Jonathon.  Tammy looks over the water--contemplating.  Sandy shows up.  Tammy tells Sandy to stay away. Sandy says that he's glad that he's found her. Sandy tries to make things better for Tammy, but she says that it was her fault. Sandy tells Tammy that she can't blame herself for what happened. Tammy says that she slept with JB and that she threw herself at him and she can't change anything.  Tammy cries that she is stupid and everyone thinks so. Sandy says that no one thinks she's stupid. Tammy says "It's gone, Sandy.  It's gone and I can't get it back."

Harley meets Gus at the police station. She tells Gus that Lizzie is here and she's going to tell Frank everything that she knows about the accident. Gus tells Harley that he knows she got dressed up as Ruth again and talked Lizzie into confessing. "I told you not to dress as Ruth again, but you didn't listen! What are you pathological or something?" Harley says that at least she did it and now she's going to go in and listen to Lizzie put her father away.

Lizzie tells Frank, Gus, and Harley that she was the one driving the car. Harley tells Lizzie that she doesn't need to cover for her father. Lizzie says that she's not covering. "I was the one driving that car. I haven't driven since. Why do you think my dad hired Coop to be my chauffeur?"  Frank asks Lizzie for more details, so Lizzie tells Frank, Gus, and Harley what happened that night. They ask her where the car is now, but Lizzie says that it's gone.

Philip asks Zach what he meant about "Mommy being Ruth." Zach said that "She wears a costume like Halloween. She wears a wig and a nose. It's really funny."  Philip says "It's a riot.  I bet that's how she got you out of here that time."  Philip thinks back to when he hired Ruth and certain other incidents.  Zach tells Philip "don't be mad a mommy. It's only a game." Philip asks Zach if he knows where Harley is. Zach says that she's at the police station.

Gus tells Lizzie that Ruth was almost ran down this evening, and asks her if she knows anything about that accident. Lizzie says that she doesn't know anything about that.  Frank tells Lizzie that what she did was a serious offence, and she could be in big trouble but it is a good thing that Sandy is going to be OK.  Frank offers to cut a deal with Lizzie, he tells her that she needs to tell him who tried to kill Ruth and that she needs to "give up" her dad.
