Guiding Light Recap: November 02, 2004

Sebastian shows Holly his medical history.  Holly says that she's sorry about his condition.  Sebastian says that he doesn't want her sorries or pity. "I want a life."  Sebastian tells Holly that he needs Ed Bauer that is why he is holding her as hostage.  Sebastian says that Ed is doing research on the very disease that is running rampant where Ed is and he has heard that Ed is making significant progress in treating it.

Michelle tells Tony that she needs to call Robbie.  Tony tells Michelle that the phone works.  Michelle calls Robbie's nanny and asks her if she can talk to Robbie.  Robbie tells Michelle that he had a bad dream and asks her where she is.

Danny asks Blake what the telegram was about. Blake lies and says that it's from a friend of hers who travels the world. 

Alex tells Lizzie that she needs to think about confessing, but she doesn't want her to do it right now. Alex promises Lizzie that she will get her through this and asks her not to say anything to her father.  Philip shows up and asks Lizzie why she's there. Lizzie says that she felt bad about not seeing Alexandra.  Alexandra assures Philip that they had a nice chat. Alan tells Lizzie that they need to go, but Philip stops Lizzie and asks her what she and Alex were talking about.

Gus tells Harley that she is the liar who covered up the truth.  "You invented a person so that you could infiltrate my family's business." Harley tells Gus that his family has too much power and they need that power stripped away from them."  Gus asks Harley if she believes that Philip tried to kill her this evening. Harley tells Gus that Philip is ready and able to kill in order to have his dreams realized.  Harley tells Gus that he has to help her.

Ross shows up, and asks Gus what he's doing there.  Ruth comes into the picture and tells Gus to go ahead and tell the mayor what has happened.  Gus introduces Ruth to Ross.  Gus tells Ross that Ruth was almost hit by a car. Ross says "isn't this the same area where Sandy was hit?"  Gus says that it was and he believes that it may have been the same person.  Ross asks for a full report.  Ross leaves, and Harley says "so you do believe me."   Gus says that "I am about to turn my back on my family, are you happy?" Gus tells Harley that it's not for her, it's for himself.

Holly tells Sebastian that Ed is a doctor and his life is about healing and that Sebastian needs to go directly to him.  Sebastian says that he doesn't think that Ed would want to help the son of his worst enemy.  Holly asks Sebastian what Michelle has to do with anything. Sebastian says that he left word with Michelle that she needs to find Ed and bring him to where they are and if she doesn't then he (Sebastian) will die and Holly will die right along with him.

Holly tries to convince Sebastian to let her go. Holly tells Sebastian that she would have a better chance of getting Ed to come. Sebastian says that he can't let her go and he says that Ed would come for her and no other reason. Holly says "what a fool I was to buy into your story of Roger and his coins."

Michelle goes to bed. Tony tries to sleep in a chair, but Michelle tells Tony that if they are going to go looking for Holly then they both need to get a good night sleep and she tells Tony to get in the bed with her. Tony asks her if she was sure. Michelle says that it's OK.  Tony crawls into bed beside Michelle and he starts to talk to her about how worried he was when he made it to the beach and how he didn't want to live in a world without her. Michelle never heard anything that he said because she fell sound asleep.

The nanny takes Robbie to see Danny. Robbie tells Danny that "Mommy called and she said that there is nothing to worry about and that she is having a great time."

Philip tells Lizzie that Alan knows about the accident.  They prepare to leave the police station, but Ruth and Gus show up.  Philip asks her what's going on.  Gus tells Philip that Ruth was almost hit by a car by Farley's bar. Philip says that someone must be targeting that area.  Ruth tells Philip that she thinks that he was the one who tried to kill her this evening.
