Guiding Light Recap: October 29, 2004

It's Halloween in Springfield. Trick or Treaters show up at Josh and Reva's.  Josh hands out candy, and Reva tries to call Jonathon.  Josh tells her to stop calling "him" and he's never going to show up. Josh tells Reva that JB is dangerous and if he wouldn't have come home yesterday, JB would have killed her.

Tammy finds Lizzie and she tells her that it's time for her to pay for what she's done.  Lizzie says that she doesn't know what Tammy's talking about.  Tammy says "You knew all along that JB was Reva's son."  Lizzie tells Tammy to just relax---"it's not like you slept with him."  Tammy becomes upset. Lizzie laughs and says "Oh my gosh...you slept with your cousin!"

Jeffrey shows up at the farm. Edmund tells him that it's not a good time because Tammy is missing.  Jeffrey says that he knows because Cassie called him. "looks like you're stuck with me."

Cassie goes to Towers and she lashes out at Dinah.  Dinah tells Cassie to get away from her because she's eating. Cassie throws Dinah's plate on the floor and tells her that she's done. Dinah asks Cassie what her problem is. Cassie tells Dinah: " You set up my daughter so that animal could violate her!"

Philip talks to someone on his cell phone: "Ruth is a liability that I can no longer afford. Meet me at Towers tonight."  Philip hangs up, and he says "sorry Ruth, but you have to go." He crushes a glass in his hand. Beth and Alan witness Philip breaking the glass, and they ask him if he's all right. Philip assures them that he is OK.

Ruth is wandering the Spaulding property looking for the car that hit Sandy, but it's gone.  Gus shines a flashlight on her "Hello Miss Carloff."

A knock at the door. It's Sandy. Josh answers the door and asks Sandy why he's there.  Sandy says that he came to talk to Reva about JB before he leaves town.  Sandy tells Reva that JB wants to be close to Reva, but only because he wants to hurt her. Another knock at the door, Reva goes to answer it. A man in a mask comes in "Your candy or your life!"  Josh goes after the person and pushes him to the wall. "Do you think that is funny?!"  JB pulls off his mask and says "Relax....It's me, Mom."

Lizzie makes fun of Tammy for sleeping with her cousin. Tammy tells Lizzie that she did not know JB was her cousin. Tammy tells Lizzie that he used her to get back at Reva.  Lizzie says that she didn't know anything about it. Tammy slaps Lizzie and says "you are just as sick as your father is and that's why you are all alone now." Tammy leaves, and Lizzie starts to cry.

Cassie tells Dinah that she knew that Tammy was in Edmund's suite with JB, and she steered Cassie away from the room.  Dinah tells Cassie that she needs to lay blame on the right person because if Cassie would have been there for Tammy, then she wouldn't go looking for love in all the wrong places.

Beth tends to Philip's hand. Beth asks him about Lizzie and what's going on with her. Beth says that she hears Lizzie crying at night but when she goes in to see what's wrong, Lizzie won't tell her.  Beth says that she has seen Lizzie and Philip talking and she wants to know what's going on with Lizzie. Philip says "Sometimes it's better if you just don't know."

Gus asks Ruth if she's bird watching. "Owls, Mr. Aitoro, nocturnal." She says that they should go back to the house. Gus tells Ruth that he's onto her so "why don't you start talking?"  Ruth tells Gus that if he's onto her then he must be out there for the same reason that she is. He asks her what that would be. "To gather evidence against Mr. Spaulding and use it against him."

JB tells Josh that he has an invite from "the lady herself."  Sandy tells JB to go trick or treating somewhere else.  Josh and Sandy lash out at JB and try to throw him out of the house. Reva stops them and brings JB back in the house. She tells Josh that she wants to talk to JB. Josh doesn't want to leave them alone, but Reva insists. Josh storms out of the house and calls Edmund and says that he needs to see him. Edmund says that Tammy is missing and he can't meet him now. Josh says that it's all about Cassie and Tammy's safety.

Cassie asks Jeffrey what kind of charges they can bring against JB for violating Tammy.  Jeffrey says that Josh had tried to do the same thing, but since the sex was consensual there was nothing that they could do.  Edmund's phone rings, and he takes the call. Cassie lashes out at Jeffrey about Dinah.
