Guiding Light Recap: October 08, 2004

Michelle is at Company. She's playing with the coin that hangs around her neck. She has another memory of her mother.

Sebastian shows up at the farm and introduces himself to Cassie and says that he has come to meet his nephew. Cassie tells Sebastian that she was on her way out, but she would take the time to introduce Sebastian and RJ to each other. Sebastian asks Cassie why Dinah is walking around a free woman.

Dinah is at the bar, she's "drunk" (or not). She begins to do a striptease for the guys in the bar. The bartender tells her that she needs to get off the pool table and that he has called her friend to come and get her and he is on his way. Edmund arrives, and the bartender tells Edmund that his friend needs help. Edmund says that she's doing fine by herself.

Reva sits at Sandy's bedside. She frets over how she's going to tell Sandy that he's not her son.  JB is outside the hospital room watching Reva at Sandy's bedside.  A flower delivery person arrives, and JB tells him that he should not have made the trip "He's not going to make it."  The flower delivery person takes the flowers and leaves.

Cassie tells Sebastian that she didn't want to put her family through the trauma of reliving Hart's death and she reminded Sebastian that Dinah recently seved RJ's life and also hers as well. Sebastian says that he understands. Cassie leaves the room to get RJ, and after she is gone, Sebastian scales the room looking for a hidden opening. He has no luck.

Edmund tries to talk Dinah down from the pool table and she refuses. Dinah tells Edmund to go back to "green acres." Edmund assures Dinah that it is the place to be and he tells Dinah to enjoy her hang over.  Edmund leaves the bar and Dinah yells to him to just go ahead and "walk away! that's what they all do! Hart did the same thing until he met that slut Cassie!"

Reva wheels herself out of Sandy's room and JB sneaks up behind her and asks her if she wants to go for a spin. He takes hold of the wheel chair and spins Reva around and around.  Reva tells JB that she would rather crawl back to her room.  JB tells Reva that he's hurt. Reva says "take your hurt and just leave here." JB tells Reva that she's old enough to be his mother.  JB says that he lost his own mother on the operating table. Reva says that she's not sure whether to believe him or not. JB says "Why would I lie about something like that?"  Tammy arrives at the hospital and and she asks Reva how Sandy's doing.  Reva tells Tammy that Sandy may reject the transplant. JB looks Reva in the eye and states "Rejection is a bitch."

Edmund approaches Dinah and he requests that she get off of the pool table. Dinah asks Edmund if the truth hurts. Edmund grabs Dinah and tells her to shut up and that she doesn't need to tell the world what has happened between her and Cassie. Dinah tells Edmund to make her shut. Edmund picks up Dinah and carries her out of the bar.

Cassie introduces RJ to his uncle Sebastian. Cassie tells Sebastian that she needs to leave and get to the hospital and she asks Sebastian if he's going to be around for a while as she would like nothing better than to have Sebastian spend some time getting to know RJ.  Sebastian says that he would like nothing better and he offers to walk Cassie out to her car.  Sebastian asks Cassie if it was OK for him to hang out at the farm for a while. Cassie is agreeable.
