Guiding Light Recap: February 04, 2005

Harley spends the night in a motel room to avoid the media frenzy. She doesn't realize that Gus is in the room next door to her. He is on the phone telling someone that there's not going to be a plea deal for Harley. Gus bangs his head off the wall and Harley thinks that it's a honeymoon couple next door.

Michelle goes to the hospital to see Rick. She tells him that she wants him to help her because Danny wants to take sole custody of Robbie. Michelle asks Rick to talk to Danny to make him see that it's not a good idea. Rick says that he can't help her because he actually agrees with Danny this time. Mel overhears Michelle and Rick's conversation. When Michelle leaves, Mel approaches Rick and tells him that he is wrong in the actions that he has taken against Michelle.

Danny stops by Company and asks Marina to go out to the movies. He tells Marina that he's taking himself off the lighthouse project. Tony shows up and tells Danny that they need to talk. Danny tells Tony that he's busy and doesn't have time. Danny gives in and goes outside to talk with Tony. Tony tells Danny that he knows what he's trying to do to Michelle.

Tammy goes to Company. Some girls approach her and invite her to join them. Tammy tells them that she's been around and has started taking classes at SU. One girl asks Tammy "Is it true that you slept with your cousin?" Tammy becomes upset and the girls say that guys are dogs and that they are not judging her. Tammy says "Is everyone talking about me?" One of the girls said "So it is true...you did sleep with your cousin." The other one says "How gross is that?" They both laugh and Tammy tells them both where they can go and she leaves Company in search of Sandy.

Reva and Jonathon are in a bar room brawl. Josh comes in and Reva isn't aware, she ends up slamming him in the back with a pool stick.

Gus calls Harley and asks her to meet him at the old house. Harley meets Gus at the house and she asks him why they are there. They go inside the new house that is barely started. Gus welcomes her to her new home. Harley says that she's not in the mood. Gus gives Harley a visual of what he new house is going to be. Harley says "Don't do this." Gus says "I am going to nail my brother's killer and I am going to give you your life back." Harley says that all the evidence points to her--everything that we look at is a dead end. Harley tells Gus to plead guilty and take the deal. Gus says that he's not going to do that. Harley tells Gus that if he doesn't, then she'll look for a new lawyer. Gus tells Harley that they have a week to get things together and they will find Philip's killer.

Tony had asked Danny to stay away from the lighthouse and to stay away from Michelle as well. Michelle shows up and she asks Danny to stay on the job and finish what he's already started. Tony becomes upset and Michelle tells Tony that the only reason she wanted Danny to remain on the job was that when he would be there working he most likely would have Robbie with him and she would get to spend time with Robbie and that way Danny would see that Michelle is not a bad mother.

Danny tells Marina that he's decided to stay on the job at the lighthouse, and she becomes a little upset but doesn't let Danny know.

Reva tells Josh that she hasn't been in a good bar fight like that in years. Sandy shows up at the bar and asks Jonathon what was going on. Jonathon says that he was just protecting his mother. Jonathon says "If anyone is going to trash my mom, it's going to be me."

Mel tells Rick that he needs to accept Michelle for who she is. Mel brings up the fact that Rick himself was going to pack up and go sail around the world. Rick says that he wasn't going to let the kids behind. Mel says that she's not so sure..."I feel you pulling away just a little bit each day." Rick says that he can't deny that their marriage has been affected by Philip's death. Mel brings out some old photos of them and she tells him that "this is us and I am going to fight for us with everything that we have...please don't make me fight alone."

Tammy goes home to Sandy's and is surprised to find him there. Sandy approaches Tammy and he kisses her. Sandy unzips Tammy's jacket and she pulls away and says "I can't." Tammy tells Sandy that she hates that "he is ruining this for us." Sandy says that Jonathon can't ruin anything for them.

Harley finds Danny at Company. She tells him that she needs his help. "I know that you know people.....can you change the outcome of this trial?...I'll pay for it.

Jonathon leaves the bar and he scratches the paint on Reva's new car and he smashes the windshield. "You are not getting to me!!" he yells.
