Guiding Light Recap: January 26, 2005

Harley doesn't fare out too well at the court hearing. She gets on the elevator and leaves Gus behind. Gus yells to her that he can help her.

Danny works out at the gym. Father Ray shows up and talks to Danny. He says that he thinks that he's wrong to seek divorce. Danny says that Michelle remembers some of their past, but she doesn't seem to be moved by it. Danny says that it's time to move on.

Ray goes to the lighthouse to see Michelle. Michelle says that she would love to talk to him. Tony leaves for a while at Michelle's encouraging. Ray tells Michelle that he's concerned about Tony's role in this relationship and asks her what happens if Michelle remembers how much she truly loved Danny and wants to go back. "What happens to Tony?"

Tony shows up at the gym and tells Danny that it wasn't really wise of him to send Father Ray to do his bidding. Danny says that he didn't send Ray. Danny tells Tony that "you've always lived in my shadow and you hated it...you have always wanted what I had...and once you got it...you didn't want it anymore." Tony assured Danny that he loves Michelle and that they are going to have a life together and they're going to start a business and they're going to travel.

Harley tells Marina that she has already worked things out with Jude, and begins to ask Marina if she would take care of Zach for her, but Gus comes in and whisks Harley away and tells her that what she is doing isn't necessary. Harley says that things aren't looking good for her and she has to face the reality that she may have killed Philip.

Marina and Zach stop by the gym. Danny tells Marina that he's going to see his lawyer about the divorce and that he is also planning to seek full custody of Robbie. Marina is shocked to hear the news, but Danny tells her that Tony told him that he and Michelle are going to start a business, and they're going to travel...."never one mention of Robbie...."

Lizzie and Coop argue. They end up telling each other that they've been playing one another this whole time. Coop tells Lizzie that he was playing her so that she would give the restaurant back to his family. Lizzie says that she was playing Coop so that he could talk his family into accepting her and would no longer give her a hard time.

Harley asks Gus to do just one thing for her..."get Company back in my family's name." Gus says that he will make Lizzie sign it over. Harley says that she doesn't want him to "make" Lizzie do anything. "I used to be her step mother....she just lost her dad not too long ago...don't bully her." Gus and Harley compare notes and discover that they have each been told a different story from Beth and Lizzie. Some one is lying..."but who?"
