Guiding Light Recap: January 19, 2005

Tony and Michelle go out for dinner at Towers.  Tony tells Michelle that this is turning out to be a really bad date and he asks her if they can leave. Ross and Blake show up and tells Tony and Michelle that "Everyone has been saying what a miserable person my brother was...you two don't seem to be suffering."  Tony tells Blake that her brother was awful to them on that trip. Blake lashes out at Michelle and she walks out.

Marina is sitting outside Company. Coop comes out and asks Marina if she's on break right now. Marina says that she is and asks Coop if he is on break as well. Coop says "No...I am just out here because it drives Lizzie crazy." Lizzie comes out and asks Coop why he's been taking so many breaks. Lizzie just takes it in stride.

Danny shows up at Company. He goes in and sits down.  Lizzie is after Buzz to get Coop and Marina back in the restaurant. Buzz tells Lizzie that "labor issues are your problem." Buzz continues to bus the tables and Danny says "Hello Buzz."  Buzz says "Danny...I am glad that you are alive!  Now I can kill you!"

Dinah calls Jonathon. She leaves him a message, but then she says to herself "I know that you're going to let me down."  Dinah places an order for Cassie and then says "you'll thank me later, Jonathon."

Cassie goes home and she is loaded down with groceries. She yells for help. Edmund comes to the door and asks her why she's home and then he says "Go away!" Cassie goes in the house and finds that Edmund has the house decked out for a tropical honeymoon..."I've decided to bring it to us."

Alexandra visits Lizzie at Company. She tells Lizzie "I see your staff sitting out there...labor problems?" Lizzie says that it's all part of the game. Lizzie tells Alex that Coop is falling for her and she plans to take him out on the town to somewhere that is out of his league. "Then he'll see who's boss."  Coop in turn tells Marina that Lizzie is falling for him.

Buzz yells at Danny for taking Marina to the tropics to help him look for Michelle. Danny says "I wasn't going to let anything happen to Marina."

Edmund and Cassie prepare to enjoy their honeymoon at home when Tammy comes in. "Looks like the travel brochure threw up in here." Cassie says that she is glad to see her and wishes that she would just come home to stay. Tammy says that's not going to happen. She tells Cassie that things are really weird since the wedding. Cassie says that everything is OK and that she and Edmund are going to be fine.

Edmund shows up at Towers and he comes into the bar carrying and armload of flowers. Dinah says "That's a beautiful arrangement...who died." Edmund assures Dinah that he and Cassie are doing fine and that he doesn't know what she's doing "trying to bait me." Dinah says that she wasn't trying to bait him, and if she were she could tell everyone why Cassie nearly skipped town on Edmund.

Lizzie tells Coop that she has their date all planned out. Coop informs Lizzie that he has already planned things as well.

Danny tells Buzz that Marina has been a great friend to him and she has been wonderful to Robbie. Danny tells Buzz that Marina and he are very clear about where things stand.  Marina comes in and Buzz goes into the kitchen. She asks Danny how things went. Danny says that he was smoothing things over. Marina says "for the record...now is not the time to start lying to me." Danny asks Marina how much she heard. Marina says that she heard enough.

Edmund tells Dinah that the only reason she would know why Cassie didn't show for the wedding would have been because she (Dinah) was involved somehow. Dinah says "you better thank Jeffrey O'Neal that she came back to you."

Delivery for Cassie. Tammy signs for them. Cassie is excited "Edmund is so wonderful!" Tammy tells Cassie to read the card. Cassie opens the card and it falls from her hands.  The card says "The stork doesn't judge...even if it was conceived on the night before your wedding." 

Alexandra tells Buzz that Marina looks happy and she deserves it.

A waiter gives a note to Tony that was written by Michelle.

Edmund tells Dinah that whatever happened before the wedding doesn't matter because Cassie got over it and she came back and they are happy. "It's not the secrets that get us in the end...it's living with them... don't you think?"  Edmund leaves.
