Guiding Light Recap: January 13, 2005

Marina and Coop are outside of Cedars hospital. She prepares to tell Danny and Mel that Danny had been killed in a plane crash trying to save Michelle. Coop gives her the reassurance that she needs.

Michelle, Tony, and Danny arrive at the airport to go home to Springfield. Michelle tells Tony that she wants to talk to Danny alone.  Expecting the worst, Tony leaves the pair alone. Michelle talks to Danny and tells him that she doesn't want to pursue their relationship, and that she is sorry that "his wife" was lost in the explosion. Danny says that he understands and he hugs Michelle.

Michelle approaches Tony and tells him that she made her decision as to who she wants to be with.  Tony tells Michelle that she and Danny were destined to be together.  Michelle tells Tony that "I am with you....you are the one that I want to be with."

Marina approaches Rick to tell him of the news about Danny.  Rick tells Marina that he doesn't have time to talk to her.  Marina goes to Mel. Mel tries to brush Marina off as well, but Marina is able to tell her about what had happened to Danny.  Mel asks Marina to watch Robbie while she goes to find Rick to let him know.

Harley and Gus are at Towers and they are on the balcony talking. Beth is lurking and listening to what they are talking about. Rick finds Beth and asks her what she is doing.

Rick and Beth talk, and Beth kisses Rick. Mel walks in just in time to witness this.  She walks out, and then comes back in like she saw nothing. Mel tells Rick that they really need to talk.

Gus takes Harley over to the place where her house used to stand.  He tells her to open the mailbox. Harley opens the mailbox and finds the deed to the property. Gus says that he got it for her and she can start to rebuild.

Marina sits outside the hospital and she is very upset and crying over Danny. She begins to wish on a star. Danny comes around the corner and asks "what were you wishing for?" She leaps into Danny's arm.
