Guiding Light Recap: January 05, 2005

Danny collapses in front of Michelle's cell that Sebastian created. She begs him to hold on and is upset that she can't get out to help him.

Reva and Josh are at the barn helping the wedding planner get ready for the wedding. Reva tells Josh that Edmund spent the night with Cassie at the Beacon.

Edmund shows up at the Beacon and he asks the front desk clerk where Cassie is because he got a message from her to come to the Beacon. Dinah tells Edmund that she placed the call and that there is something that she wanted to tell her.

Cassie wakes up and she leans over and lays her head on the man's chest that she is in bed with. Thinking that it's Edmund, she says "Don't you know that it's bad luck for you to see me before the wedding. Why don't you wake up and give me some more bad luck." Jonathon rolls over and says "Man, are you insatiable or what? Do you really want to go again?" Cassie is shocked to see who she was in bed with.

Tammy and Sandy arrive at the farmhouse. Apparently, they don't have a key to get in because Sandy went through the kitchen window to open the door.

Reva asks Josh if he's got the rings. She tells Josh that he seems a little jumpy. Reva asks Josh if that was a police man she saw on the property. Josh tells her that it is, and that he hired him to keep the peace.

Jeffrey O'Neal arrives at the farm and he remembers the night of the fire.

Dinah tells Edmund that she wished him well on his marriage and that she wanted him to be really happy because he was her first friend when she got to Springfield. Edmund thanks her the well wishes and he hopes that he can do the same should Dinah ever get married.

Cassie jumps out of bed and says that she's going to call security. "Call Uncle Eddie while you're at it." Cassie asks "Where is Reva? Why didn't she show up?" Jonathon says that it's a good thing that Reva didn't show she would have spoiled the fun. Cassie accuses Jonathon of drugging her and setting her up. Jonathon shows Cassie the piece of paper "here's the invitation written in your own handwriting." Cassie tells Jonathon to get out. She storms into the bathroom and Jonathon takes the tape out of the video camera and pockets it.

Michelle tells Danny that he is important to her and that they spent a lot of years together. Danny says that wasn't really an answer to his question. Michelle tells Danny that they don't have time to talk about feelings. "You have to get out of here." Danny says that he is not going anywhere. Sebastian and Holly show up and Sebastian says "well, well, well...look what crawled out of the jungle." Sebastian tells Danny that he did it--"you found your damsel in distress. Now say good bye." Sebastian pulls a gun on Danny and Holly pleads with Sebastian not to shoot.

Tammy tells Sandy that she is certain that he is the only person who would not let her down.

Jeffrey tells Reva that he has his doubts about Cassie's happiness with Edmund. Reva says that maybe things will start out wrong and end up right. Reva tells Jeffrey that he needs to let Cassie have this day and that she deserves happiness.

Jonathon tells Cassie that every bride deserves one last encounter of the bad kind. She asks him what happened last night and Jonathon says "nothing that you didn't want to happen." Cassie becomes irate and begins to hit Jonathon and he grabs Cassie and tells her that no one has to know and that she needs to save her energy for the walk down the aisle. A knock comes to the door and it's Edmund. Jonathon stands in front of the door and is more than willing to open the door for her, but Cassie's eyes plead with him to not open it.
