As half of the emerging supercouple of Luke and Noah, was Luke's sexual orientation always accepted by his family?
While Holden, Lucinda and Emma were fairly accepting of Luke's news, Lily balked at the thought. Soon after his announcement, Luke's bio dad, Damian Grimaldi, returned to town and tried to push the idea of "deprogramming" Luke at a camp. When Luke learned of this, he assumed Lil was behind the idea, and confronted her. Their spat ended with Lily accidentally falling down some stairs, landing her in a coma.
In the meantime, Damian's deprogramming plan was found out, as was the fact that he was just in town to go after Luke's share of the Grimaldi fortune. Luke upped his share in exchange for an end to their relationship for good, and when Lily came to, she and Luke made up. Things have been smooth ever since.
