GRAVES-- NuFox. For his line, "If you had just chosen me, Whitney-- this would never have happened." Umm--hello?!?!?!? I seem to recall that Whitney and Chad were knocking boots a good year and a half BEFORE you dropped your cards in Europe and hightailed it back to Harmony. So-- explain to me HOW this would not have hurt Whitney as much? The only remote way that sentence would be true-- is that Whitney might not have ended up preggers by her supposed brother. But seeing that Fox doesn't even KNOW that Whitney is in "the family way" right now-- that line MADE ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE.
Best part of the week-- I'm healthy AGAIN!!
Worst part of the week-- The Chadney imbroglio. It's just awful-- and unlike a bad car accident-- I don't even WANT to watch this. Fast Forward, please.
And now-- for my RANT OF THE WEEK-- JER!! Dude-- this is unbelievably awful planning. Your interviews in SOW and SOD are just insulting to us viewers. Trying to pawn off your sick and twisted line of thinking as "this portrayal of incest is the 'new divorce'?" You freakin' sicko. Trying to pass off your demented plan as "I'm just trying to do something new" is just not acceptable. Sorry-- DO NOT PASS GO... DO NOT COLLECT TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS. This is just sick. I don't give a flying monkey's butt that 50 years ago divorce was "frowned upon." Big freakin whoop. It does not even REMOTELY compare to forcing us to watch brother and sister getting it on. I understand that maybe this wasn't always your plan (although I don't believe it for a SECOND)-- but after the BIG REVEAL-- forcing your viewers to watch the love-making scenes in flashbacks-- ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. That is just nasty. BOO, JER!! I hope Proctor and Gamble threatens to pull your funding so you'll quit and I can start watching a decent show again.
And now-- for my prediction-- (and for the new readers-- let's review-- I was 100% right in my predictions for the SUMMER OF BABIES that we all endured) for the twins Theresa is carrying.
Twin number one-- This one WILL belong to Ethan and Gwen. No doubt in my mind. But sadly-- this baby will die. We never received ANY PROOF that Theresa miscarried. She was spotting-- she was not far enough along to be able to know for certain that she miscarried. Whether during complications at birth, or being born a still born, or during some phenomenal fight between Gwen and Theresa-- this baby WILL NOT LIVE!! Sorry-- I don't mean to be so callous-- but I just DO NOT SEE IT. This baby *has* to die so Gwen and Ethan can finally end things once and for all.
Twin number two-- This one will be Fox and Theresa's. Wait, wait-- HEAR ME OUT!! When Eve talked about the sonogram that she did-- she said that the only way that Theresa could have had another baby was to get pregnant AFTER the implantation-- but according to the doctor who confirmed the twins-- "they look to be ABOUT the same size." Meaning that the baby that Eve saw on the sonogram was the THEROX baby-- and the GwEthan baby was too small and hiding behind the other baby.
Theresa will not know it is Fox's-- she will believe it is Ethan's-- so will the rest of the town. They will do a paternity test-- someone will tamper with the results-- (can't reveal who I think it will be because if I do-- I'll be revealing spoilers) but suffice it to say a WOMAN will change the results to make the baby Ethan's. Shortly after the "realization" that Ethan is the daddy-- the truth about the tabloids will bust out-- Ethan will be furious and leave Gwen-- and in the melee-- it will be revealed that little Ethan is truly Ethan's son. Then-- baby THEROX, believed to be the new TherEthan baby, will become gravely ill, possibly with aplastic anemia (since JER recycles everything from DAYS-- why not recycle Abby's illness?) and he or she will need a bone marrow transplant. They will rightfully believe that little Ethan will be the best donor (in situations like this-- the best donor is ALWAYS a sibling--because usually-- they will share the same DNA traits as each other, being acquired from both parents.) BUT-- Little Ethan won't be a match.
BECAUSE-- the new baby is Fox's. Thereby setting the stage for the MOTHER of all triangles-- and the one I have wanted to see for almost 2 years now. Ethan, Theresa and Fox. For the record-- this is the ONLY triangle I would ever fully support. I LOVE the idea of "torn between two brothers." Especially when Fox FINDS out *who* switched the paternity results. And I'll give you a hint-- it ain't BIG DADDY!
Til next week,
