Bold and the Beautiful Recap: December 12, 2007

In the Forrester office, Felicia and Ashley talked over what they knew of the situation involving Taylor and Nick, Brooke and Ridge. Felicia was still not sure that Ridge wouldn't eventually have problems with Brooke and the baby.

Nick carried in baby Jack and found Taylor busy going through some of her files. She told him that she planned on returning to work. He was surprised but agreed that it would be all right after Taylor explained that she needed to have work in her life also. Nick then took the opportunity to bring up the subject of having baby Jack christened. He wondered if she would have a problem with Ridge and Brooke attending. Taylor wondered if he was more interested in having Brooke in attendance, rather than making amends with the Forrester family. Then she told Nick, that she didn't want Brooke involved in their lives or their child's life, unless it was absolutely necessary.

Brooke in the meantime seemed to be talking to a wall when it came to trying to get Ridge to bend on the subject of the four of them being a part of the babies life. He saw no reason for Brooke to get involved and believed that if she did so, it would cause more problems for Taylor. Later, Brooke and Nick met at the Marlin where a sad Brooke told Nick that she had no luck with Ridge, and therefore had to make a decision. She was going to keep away from the baby. She broke down and as Nick comforted her, Ashley happened by and saw the two of them during this tender moment, in each others arms.
