At the police station, Stephen was both upset and angry at having to wait for the report on the gun found in his room. When the report arrived, it stated that it was the same gun that was used to shoot Stephanie. With the evidence at hand, the police took Stephen off to arrest him and fingerprint him for the crime.
Stephanie talked with her family about who could have shot her. It was possible that it could have been someone other than Donna, but Stephanie thought that it most likely was her. When Eric was alone with Stephanie she took the time to thank him for allowing her to come back home to get better. He also told her that he would be staying at a hotel so she would be there with Pam to help her out with whatever she needed. Needless to say, Stephanie was very disappointed. With the Logan sisters gathered, all somewhat were unsure of whether or not the other sisters were innocent of the shooting.
Lt. Baker and his son arrived at the hospital to see Stephanie and question her further on the shooting. Showing her the gun that was found in Stephen's room, Stephanie recognized that it was the one she owned. The police told her that they had arrested Stephen. When she was alone, Stephen called Stephanie and told her that he was not guilty of shooting her. He told her that she needed to be careful though, because if he didn't do it, someone was still out there who wanted to see her dead.
Clarke was curious as to why Jackie suddenly took off after the fashion show. Nick tried to get him to back off with the questions when Ridge came in asking all sorts of questions about who it was that shot his mother. Then Eric called Ridge and told him that Stephen had been arrested. Nick was relieved that he hadn't responded to Ridge's question. He was also relieved that someone else had been arrested.
