Bold and the Beautiful Recap: November 01, 2005

Nick asks Brooke again, "did you have sex with Eric?"

Jonathan comes in with Eric's divorce papers. Eric has just told him that Stephanie was there, and he was glad to see her go. Jonathan reminds Eric that if Stephanie challenged the divorce, it would be legal. Eric comments that with those papers Stephanie won't be able to manipulate him anymore.

Katherine tells Stephanie "no", she never did anything to change the trust at her father's wishes. Katherine remembers when she first met Stephanie's father. She was a young girl and the first thing that he asked her was how she was and then he gave her some advice about life. He told her nothing about the trust. He said that it was intact and exactly the way he wanted it. She tells Stephanie that the trust is still intact and she owns it, lock, stock and barrel. She said all she did was mail the annual tax document that was provided to a Jonathan Young. Katherine tells her that she believed Stephanie knew all of this. Her father was always looking out for her. Katherine tells her that her father probably believed that since she loved Eric so much that you would be hurt to learn that he didn't approve of Eric and trust him. Katherine tells Stephanie that she should be happy about all of this. Stephanie tells her that she found this document today, by accident, and it was in Eric's safe. He must have known about it all along. Stephanie tells her that Eric wouldn't do that to her. He wasn't a liar or a cheat. Katherine tells her that he's a man, isn't he? Stephanie realizes that Eric has lied to her for all those years, and the amount of betrayal if he actually knew and did this. Stephanie says, "if he played me for a fool, but then she doesn't believe it, because he couldn't do that to her."

Eric goes to put the papers of divorce into his safe. Something looks strange to him and he asks Jonathan if he has been in it lately. When he says "no", Eric says the envelope with Stephanie's trust is missing. Jonathan isn't real happy because Eric went behind Stephanie's back to get his divorce, and he has taken advantage of her also. He tells Jonathan that he has had enough of her, and is glad that it is over. Eric comments that they are the only two people who know about the trust, and Jonathan tells him that no one else can ever find out. They are the only two that have the combination to the safe. Eric searches for it, but can't find it when Stephanie enters the office. She asks him if he has lied to her all these years. He looks at her and tells her that he thought she had left for Florida, what can he do for her? He looks at her and asks if something is wrong?

Brooke tells Nick that Eric is her husband. She made a commitment to him. He reminds her that he saw her the night they were married, out on the terrace, because she couldn't be with Eric. He grabs her and tells her again to tell him the truth, if she ever loved him. Brooke says that she hasn't slept with Eric. He tells her that Eric is kidding himself if he ever thinks that he will have you to himself. He tells Brooke that Bridget made it clear that she doesn't want to be with him. Nick takes Brooke by force onto his boat and takes them out in the middle of Monica Bay. He says that everything will be resolved tonight for her, Eric, Bridget and him.
